Just ordered egg rolls and fried rice. Egg roll was terrible and mushy. Then I see a long hair in the egg roll. Threw everything away. Clerk was rude and no hello or thank you. When I called to tell them, she didn’t even respond at all. Complete silence and could have cared less. I just hung up. Not the reputation they had many years ago. I had heard it was bad but thought I would try it anyway. Lesson learned.

Food is pretty decent. Price has gone up since we were there last. But what happened to getting a side of steamed white rice with entrees? I ordered a small sweet & sour chicken and small Mongolian beef; thinking both would come with a small steamed white rice.

Don’t order here. Last 3 times has had wrong order or missing item we ordered. Moo shu pork is supposed to come with pancakes/crepes. Said they were out of pancakes. Ordered fried rice and was not included. Don’t waste your money.

If you’re on the fence on where to go for food, then you saw the right review! This place never fails! It is always so delicious and convenient to go! I consider it a hidden gem! If you haven’t come here with your family I would highly recommend it, the people are so kind and friendly and welcoming! Hope you enjoy!

Stopped in for some take out. I gave my order to a rude woman at the counter. I ordered pot stickers and Beef Lomein. They were awful. The pot stickers were doughy and flavorless. So was the large mound of tasteless beef lomein. Very disappointed. I’m not going back. Yuk!

My wife and I have been coming to Gilbert’s almost every Thursday night for the past three plus years, and it has never disappointed us. The food is consistently excellent, with generous portions which keep us coming back week after week.
The front counter staff, especially the person we have come to know well over the years, is always kind, welcoming, and attentive.
Every meal we’ve had at Gilbert’s has been fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying.
