This place was a whole vibe New Year’s Eve 2025. Our waitress made sure we were good very often, informed us about the different events that take place during thw week. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the grio taco, it was delicious. The happy hour menu was beautiful, the adult beverages were even better. Our waitress was very attentive. We will visit again for the brunch on Saturdays for the New Year.

We celebrated a major milestone this weekend – our 10th year wedding anniversary – at Gigi’s Music Cafe! The food was absolutely great, with dishes that hit all the right notes. While it wasn’t an event night, which might’ve contributed to the vibes being a bit more low-key than expected, we totally recommend this restaurant! Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just craving delicious soul food meal in a music-filled atmosphere, Gigi’s Music Cafe is a solid choice.
We meet the daughter who has partner with her mother to create this wonderful cafe; she took a few minutes to speak with us even though exhaustion was clear present. She spoke about the beginning to now of the restaurant and the vibe.

Excellent service. Friendly, clean, superb ambiance. My turkey wing was fabulous, great gravy. The grits were the best I have ever had. Yummy cornbread topped with honey & just right steamed broccoli. I ate every bit. The ive saxophone music was wonderful.

INSIDER TIP: You have to call to see if this place is open because they have special pop up openings with secret menus. I was fortunate enough to catch it open on a Sunday and was amazed at what my wife and I enjoyed. From the perfectly crafted peach lemonade and the oh so tasty Johnny Cash all the way to the fried mambo chicken with calypso rice , sirloin kabobs with Mac and cheese and let’s not forget the peach cobbler. Now this review is long already and I haven’t even gotten to the superb family feeling you have while dining here. Service was prompt and professional and we even got to meet the chef. Thumbs up all around.

Came long time ago (I think before the pandemic). Visited again recently. This restaurant has some good entertainment nights with bands, poetry open mic, trivia and Karaoke/ Lip Sync nights. The entertainment is the allure. The food & drinks are great! It’s a very friendly environment. The bartender greeted me right away. Restaurant is clean. It seems like they have a lot of regulars. A lot of people seemed to know each other.

If I could go higher I would! I came for happy hour and tried their trio! The collard green rolls were out of this world! For my main I had the jerk salmon with Mac and cheese and broccoli and I can’t hype it up enough! Everything was delicious and the portions are so generous. For the drinks I got the mango margarita and strawberry martini and babyyy they hit! More people should come and try all their food and all their events they have weekly!
