They have roaches. 2 minutes after sitting down at the table a roach walked across the table. It’s a huge spot and only one table was occupied I pointed out the roach to them and one of the women walked over and confirmed it was a roach and went back and sat down. I headed for the exit. Place looks terrible it’s in a small shopping plaza and is in poor condition and no one was at the door to greet me and there menu is different from what listed on the internet and is printed out on regular printer paper with scarves off of prices and it’s all expensive. Absolutely don’t eat here

Most authentic Kerala food from the Kottayam side of the state that you are going to get in Houston or for that anywhere in the US. Highly recommend especially the chicken varathuaracha curry!

It’s the best! Somebody said that all they have is chicken, it’s COMPLETELY wrong. They serve authentic Kerala food, they have great beef, chicken, fish and veggies, variety and special dishes with all these. The thing is you can find a dish you’d like better, you don’t have to be stuck with spicy fish curry, you can get mango fish curry or fish fry (pan fry), so that’s great as well. Really yummy and authentic Kerala food, which we cannot find anywhere here in Texas, and compared to many other US Indian restaurants, their food is the best! Great venue for events and parties. Great consumer service! Lots of space! Really spacious, there are 3 huge rooms for different groups. They do mainly catering, but you’re welcome to eat there, it’s usually very quiet and nice, unless of course there’s a party in the hall, you can hear stuff through microphones but not too distributing. The food is super super super great, did I mention that already?! It tops all the other restaurants here since it’s made with fresh ingredients!

I went here on 09/22/18 after finding this restaurant on google. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. There were 3 parties going on at the same time and my friend and i along with another table were the only guest dining in. However, the servers never forgot about us and they checked on us frequently. We ordered several dishes and we shared it among 2 people. We ordered Keral Porotta, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Varutharacha Curry, Goat Curry and White Rice. We asked for the dishes to be spicy. I love spicy food so I thought by asking for it to be spicy it would have a lot of kick to it. It didn’t even with the added spice. So if you want to try it a little more spicy you can and will still be fine. We also ordered 2 sodas. Our total came out to be about $38. Definitely a reasonably priced restaurant. We could all easily spend that amount on one meal by ourselves. Of the 3 dishes, my favorite was the Tikki Masala. Then the goat Curry. The next time I go, I will try the curry fish. The food was amazing. I would recommend everybody give this place a try, it is definitely a hidden gem.

I thought I should write a review as yesterday, I bought half quarter chicken biriyani from here. I am not a big fan of biriyani but I guess this is one of the best biriyanis I ever ate in my life including from India (Kerala).

I’m excited to share my experience with their food, although dine-in isn’t available yet. Everything I’ve tried so far has been incredibly flavorful, transporting me back to Kerala’s authentic cuisine – a rare find in Houston.

Unlike Desi kitchen next door that refused to sit us as they were prepping for an event tomorrow, Ghazal not only switched on their entire guest seating area while they had an event, but accommodated my 3.5 yo and myself very well as the only non-event patrons.

Would go, again!
