This is one of the great Vietnamese coffee shops in this Texas area. There are many Vietnamese signature coffees here. The traditional coffee is quite strong, which is a good thing for coffee lovers. You can also buy coffee packages for Vietnamese iconic coffee as gifts. Their box is nicely designed. I would recommend trying at least one of their strong black Vietnamese coffees to experience it.

Their Strawberry Delight Coffee was so good! Very refreshing, but still had a strong espresso kick. I’ll definitely be coming back for this.
Just a heads up though, the shop gets pretty crowded on weekends so be ready to be standing very close to the people around.

The coffee here is rich, bold, and incredibly smooth, exactly what you’d expect from the iconic Trung Nguyên brand. Whether you order a classic cà phê sữa đá, a hot black coffee, or one of their specialty drinks, the flavor is consistently strong and aromatic without being bitter. You can really taste the depth and craftsmanship in every cup. The presentation is beautiful, and watching the coffee drip through the phin adds to the experience.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, especially if you’re unfamiliar with Vietnamese coffee styles. They’re happy to offer recommendations and explain the differences between blends. On top of that, the shop is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.

Awesome Vietnamese coffee! I really enjoyed the taste. While the atmosphere is good, I have to be fair with my ratings. The staff was very nice and did a great job explaining the drinks. The menu is impressive, but I was a little disappointed they didn’t have a sweet potato latte. Overall, it’s a great place, and I hope more spots like this open up in the Dallas area. One thing to note is that the drinks I tried were sweeter than expected. I’ll be sure to ask for less sweetness next time.

I’ve given this place multiple chances, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently disappointing. Every time I’ve ordered, the wait has been 20+ minutes for a simple drink. It has never once been quick or efficient.

What makes it more frustrating is how disorganized the order system seems to be. Numbers are frequently skipped, and people who ordered after me regularly receive their drinks first while others are still standing around waiting. On my last visit, someone with a number several spots after mine got their drink before I did, while someone who ordered before me was still waiting as well. It makes the whole process feel chaotic and poorly managed.

The coffee itself is okay, but the service and wait times completely ruin the experience. When you’re going to a coffee shop, you expect it to be relatively quick and organized. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case here. Until the service and ordering system improve, it’s hard to justify coming back.

This morning the fog set in; a cool breeze floating through the air. Perfect weather to try out a new coffee shop. I found myself here, at this Vietnamese coffee shop. I ordered an Americano; the beans are from Vietnam. Tasted delicious, I ordered another. Sat down and enjoyed the ambiance of the environment, looking out at the cold fog. I look forward to my next visit.

I love trying their drinks and whatever they recommend because most of the drinks they’ve recommended have been really good! My favorite that i keep coming back for is the corn coffee. The shop itself is not huge so when it is busy, there are a lot of people standing in the back corner either waiting for drinks or for a table.
Definitely recommend trying for their unique flavors and variety of drink choices!

On October 26th 2025, I was here with my sister and friend when my sister ordered a banh mi que plus drink and I ordered a coffee. She took one bite of the sandwich and discovered that it was 90% fat with barely any meat at all. Her having been to Vietnam before, it should’ve had more meat, but this place was serving mostly fatty cuts. She stopped after one bite so we could talk to the staff about it.

My friend and sister went to speak to the staff about the incident, but the cashier was passing it off as “it’s how it’s made”. Then they asked to speak to the manager… The guy went to the back, came out to say that the manager said no… While they were waiting, we saw that the staff kept popping in and out MULTIPLE TIMES to gossip within earshot about my friend and sister. My friend insisted once again to speak to the manager and the cashier guy was resistant about it. Finally the manager came out to talk after several minutes had passed arguing with the cashier.

My friend explained to the manager that there was too much fatty cuts in the sandwich and barely any meat in it, but the manager had a hard time understanding, my sister had to step in and explain in Vietnamese. The manager understood and opened the sandwich and offered another item to replace it. She picked the croffle and the manager told the staff to make it for her.

After that, they both sat back down at the table and we waited for the item. Two staff members came to the table and stated “Just to let you know, we don’t usually do this, we will lose money, especially since you guys took a bite”.

I was shocked. My sister didn’t eat the ENTIRE sandwich and then complain afterwards. She only took ONE BITE. They acted like we were trying to strong-arm them into giving us free food!

I reiterated once again that the sandwich was full of fat… Staff excused it as
“that’s a different type of pork”.
I told them, “I understand what kind of pork it is, she has had this before, usually with this pork SOME fat comes with it, but this sandwich was made with mainly cuts of grilled fat and pate – we are Vietnamese, she’s had this in Vietnam, she knows what she’s eating”
The female staff kept arguing with me about it and insisting it’s a different type of banh mi and I asked her point blank why are you arguing with me and I don’t understand why you are saying you are losing money on it when it’s a bad quality product. The fact that they are excusing a bad product being sold as a “different cut of meat ” is truly dumbfounding.

At that point, I ask “why not offer a refund” and then the staff retorted that they are already making the replacement pastry, so I asked what was the point of her coming here to talk to us about it. Food safety wise, they can’t resell this and it’s so much cheaper to replace the product with another instead of a refund.

A short recap:
We came here before we had to make a trip home. We were looking forward to a nice, relaxing cafe place, but were met with hostility when calling out their wrong doings. Especially when prices nowadays are increasing, we didn’t deserve this kind of treatment. They could’ve fixed their wrong doings by remaking the sandwich with better cuts of meat, but would rather point the finger and publicly SHAME us for the sub par sandwich. Other employees came in and saw the situation and then instead of handling it professionally – the female staff nodded her head to our direction and what I assumed was explaining on her end the situation, in front of us and other customers.

The whole situation was extremely unprofessional, and could have been resolved with a simple remake, replacement or refund – instead they chose to be reluctant and resistant to right their wrongs and publicly shame us for voicing our opinions. You can check out other reviews on how inconsistent their banh mi is.

In other words, we won’t be back and would rather go next door to ChiCha San Chen because they actually care about quality of their products and will remake their items if it’s wrong!

I have been to this location several times and the service is wonderful. Staff is very friendly and the inside is decorated beautifully and is a nice place to hang out. We have tried the following coffees: Egg, sea salt, banana cream, black sesame, corn, & matcha. All of them are delicious! The coffees are a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness, and the added flavor is not overpowering. And for anyone curious about the egg coffee – think more custard/creme brulee flavor, less scrambled eggs lol. Same for the corn – more sweet cream corn flavor and a definite favorite (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it)! Excited to work through their entire menu – would highly recommend!

I really wanted to like this coffee shop. The interior is small, but was nicely decorated. The seating needs to be updated as it doesn’t hold up well to multiple uses and some of them were stained. On my first visit, I ordered a small matcha latte, but the cup was mostly filled with ice. After just a few sips, the drink was gone. The flavor was good, but it disappeared far too quickly. I assumed it was a one-time fluke and didn’t think much of it until I returned. On my next visit, I ordered a larger drink, only to find another cup packed with ice. This time the matcha wasn’t even mixed well and I kept getting clumps of powder on my tongue. With so many great coffee and tea shops in the area, I don’t see myself coming back.
