Best Food for Dollar in the Village. Living in the village it’s hard to find good meals that aren’t crazy expensive. This place gives you great tasting good for a great price. The atmosphere is classic also, highly recommend. Left full and happy.

Stumbled across this spot as we followed the smell of delicious curry while walking around the block! The service was quick and the space is small but charming. We got the lamb vindaloo which was very spicy but extremely delicious and worth all the sweats! The chicken kurma was creamy and packed with flavours! We also got the samosa chat and garlic naan, both fresh and flavourful. They packed us extra rice to take home with our leftover curry! One of the most authentic indian restaurants in the city with good portions and reasonable prices and we will be back for more!

This is a must avoid place. The food was full of oil. We ordered veg briyani which had big pieces of veg and the entire plate was filled with oil.

Two of us were the only customers in this low-lit place for a late dinner (10pm) when most of the other restaurants were closed. We ordered and ate the following.

I can’t recommend this place enough…10/10. It’s a small family owned restaurant that’s ridiculously generous. They give you a free appetizer, a free mini rice pudding for dessert, and free Rock candy with seeds when you check out. The food is delicious. Not to mention its INCREDIBLY well priced for Manhattan.

This place is incredibly underrated! Stumbled in once, and was shocked by how good the food was. The prices are great, and the staff is very friendly. While dining here, it started pouring rain and the staff welcomed in a few strangers who were stuck out in the rain so that they could dry off and stay warm.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. We, along with the other tables in the restaurant, spent over an hour and a half for 3 orders of Chicken Tikka Masala. It would’ve been okay if the food was good but the best I could describe the flavor as is tomato soup with bland chicken. I do not know how this place will continue to stay open with such awful service and product but I do know I will never be eating there again.
