Absolutely love this place. Owners are always there and the food is great. Wonderful little touches like original old salt and pepper sets on each table. Food is authentic and always well prepared. Great soups. My only regret is that I was too stuffed to order dessert.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant! Genuine German cuisine at a decent price. The owner also has about 15 stray cats that he has gotten spayed/neutered and have all their shots. They also get fed twice a day. Absolutely wonderful. It’s terrible that this will be the first and last time I’ll ever be able to go there as they are closing on Saturday. Glad I came from IL when I did and was able to enjoy the delicious food and atmosphere.

The food was delicious and authentic. The staff and owners are extremely gracious and attentive. Atmosphere is very comfortable. We will be back again and again! Whoever posted a negative review obviously hasn’t been to Germany or had really good German food. Loved this place!

I went there on Friday and ordered the sausage platter. The food was okay. I especially liked the noodles. The black forest cake was excellent. The beverages were a little pricey. I wish they had lemonade or sweetened iced tea as an option. The price for the sparkling water was outrageous. The server Kasey was great. The person who seated us, a blonde lady, was not very welcoming. I plan on coming again and ordering something else.

A bit disappointed after reading the reviews. I may have a bit higher standards having Austria German family descent and being there a few months ago. The waitress was nice but had a few mix ups with the order. The goulash was super salty and must have used very spicy paprika which was unusual. If you are looking to switch it up and try something new, it’s not bad. If your used to eating German food from your family, you may be disappointed

I have no idea why some people gave this excellent restaurant two or less stars. I drive to Tampa often from Orlando and every time I plan on going to the German Restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is always prompt, and the beers are genuine German beers served in liter and half liter glasses. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and whatever I order I am always pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the food. If you are in the area and want excellent authentic German food, this is the only place to go.

I came on at 8 on a Saturday night with my mom. Apparently their website recommends making a reservation and I didn’t see that, we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table and everything took a while longer than I’d expect but it was all very delicious. I got the liver and it was tender and flavorful. Mom tried the chicken cordon bleu and it was crispy and fresh. We came here to try something new and was not disappointed.
