By far, the best burger place in the SF Bay area. Buns are toasted, burger was juicy and perfectly cooked. Bacon was extra crispy. Fries were crunchy and delicious without being oily. They also have soft serve ice cream and rice dishes, like Korean bulgogi and even Hawaiian Loco Moco. Definitely a local favorite and the customers seemed to know the staff on a first name basis.

Everything I had exceeded my expectation including curly fries. Bulgogi burger was intriguing but I had to try classic cheeseburger also.
Both were SO GOOD. Cheeseburger was rich, smoky, cheesy goodness with drizzling au jus just about every bite. And bulgogi burger… omg it is amazing. The sweet sautéed onion and then meaty saltiness with crunchy French roll. I took so many bites and wanted more. It’s pretty good sized burger too. I normally leave some buns when I eat burgers or sandwiches, but bun to meat ratio was on point.
Also, I couldn’t help but notice how spanking clean this place is despite looking nostalgic old school establishment. Tables, countertops, salt and pepper shakers, floor, chairs, ketchup spouts, etc all clean. No stickiness, no dust, no dried sauce.
Full of locals, attentive and personal service to everyone dining here. I’m not a local here but it’s worth coming back for.

Enjoyed a tasty high-quality cheeseburger with the extra fixings. Just what I expected! A perfect indulgence. Staff were very attentive, and I could tell the grill master was preparing a broad range of favorites.

What a great local place for a good burger! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food was great. I had a cheeseburger combo. The meat was not greasy and melted in my mouth. The veggies were crispy and fresh. The owner is also extremely friendly and passionate.

Absolutely phenomenal food!!! No crazy over the top menu, just real homemade type food! The best food I’ve had in the bay. The ambience is very family oriented and inviting. The service was insane, the owner was extremely kind and friendly, took time out of his day to chat with us and bring our kids ice cream. I will always come back here when I’m in Walnut Creek!

My brother and I came by not once but twice! We absolutely LOVED the burgers and fries! The second day we came it was my birthday. He gave me some cupcakes and wished me a happy birthday. I had not been here in several years. And I was pleasantly surprised. It was refreshing to see an owner so passionate and vested in his business and customers! He knows and excitedly greets his usual customers and very friendly even to the newbies. When he is not taking orders he comes out to the tables to bring you napkins or condiments and checking on the customers. Might sound like exactly what should be done, but these days it feels like that’s rarely the case, so I was impressed to see some good old fashioned and super friendly customer service, especially from a counter service restaurant.
My food was very good as well. The burgers are made from fresh ground meat patties, ground daily. Everything tasted and looked fresh. My curly fries were cooked to the perfect crispness as well.
I look forward to going back and trying more of their menu items as they have some unique options to choose from as well.

Typical Walnut Creeps restaurant experience. The burgers were good not exceptional. Once my daughter saw the frozen fries I should have canceled that order. I had a root beer float and it was disappointing because the soda quality was blah!!! Another sign of mediocrity is when the works via condiments does not include pickles. This is a hamburger place that serves Korean food. I did not have any Korean food but this is a little unusual. 4.5 Not but a decent burger.

This place is AMAZING. They grind their own Angus beef every day. And while the burgers are simple, that’s the magic. Just a perfect cheeseburger. Also got the Bulgogi fries. OMG. Great place to take a parent if you are visiting Rossmoor but also good for just about any occasion you want the perfect meal.

Fantastic Old School Burger place. The top selling point is the burgers and fry’s are delicious. Perfectly cooked the way you ask for it. Very nice people at the counter serving the food. The ambiance is that classic old school burger shop you love. The other food like the bulgogi poutine and the Loco Moco looked delightful as well but the burger on a roll with grilled onions really hit the spot.
