Gentile’s Bakery, Catering & Deli has been family owned and operated since 1993. At a young age, Filippo and Rachele moved from a small town, Macchiagodena located in the region of Molise in Italy. They worked hard to save up for their dream. The family opened up a little store on on Ridge Road in Parma 20 years ago preparing pizza and subs for their customers. Deciding to expand the business, they moved to Old Brooklyn and added bakery and catering. For 18 years, through thick and thin, good times and bad, the family stood by each other working hard to one day build Filippo’s and Rachele’s dream; a beautiful store now open and located at 5626 Broadview Road in Parma.

We went with Gentile’s Bakery for our wedding after tasting their pastries from a friends wedding and they did not disappoint! Communication was easy and we were able to book/pay in advance. We received nothing but compliments on the assorted pastries & they were truly our favorites! We even were able to customize their delicious cassata cake to be heart shaped for our wedding cake! Everything tasted amazing and would 100% recommend them to anybody.

Had a sandwhich from here for lunch today. Very large sandwhich for the price and it was delicious. My girlfriend went in to get the food and said the lady working there was very nice and helpful. She said everything looked so good. This is our new sandwhich spot now for sure.

These lovely women could not be more amazing, including the head baker!
It felt like family when ordering the cake.
They went above & beyond making sure the cake was perfectly decorated to our liking.
Even extra calls when discussing slight changes, possibly a minimal price change.
Needless to say the day we picked up the cake, the
tears in many eyes because of just how perfect the cake was.
Delicious beyond words and not one crumb left.
Thank you, to all that played a part in this very special cake.

This place is amazing. Everything here looks amazing. Very busy, but service is quick. You can have a sub or pizza made. They have a deli counter and fresh bakery, including bread. They carry their own mariana sauce, and you can buy any pasta here, including gluten here. My grandfather owned his own Italian restaurant, and it reminded me of his place. I definitely recommend checking this place out, and I will definitely be back!

Good cold cut selection from some imported areas. Mostly Italian, however, great selection of bakery goods. All fresh and some are frozen, available in the coolers. There are middle isles with dry goods and oils. There are delicious chocolates with hazelnuts and some with almonds. The wine selection is small but good for a quick grab to take home with fresh breads. I like this store and the service was very good. The deli makes all kinds of fresh sandwiches as well. Definitely stop in and spend some money on great goodies.
