Over priced small portions of food that are so so. Doesn’t taste bad, but nothing special. Everything is 1/2 the portion of a typical Italian restaurant for 25% more. Our shrimp scampi was $29, and was a cup of cooked pasta with 4 shrimp and 4 tiny little neck clams. The $23 chicken parmesan came with 1 cutlet and a similar small amount of pasta. I wouldn’t complain about these prices if the portions were bigger, but I didn’t see any reason to come back. Location is also isolated(not near the heart of Nassau St) at a strip mall on Rt 206. Plenty of other better Italian places in the area, so don’t waste your time or money.

I can’t believe the reviews! Yes, the staff were friendly – almost too much so, in that they were constantly hovering. We started with Ceasar salad. Although I liked the shaved parmesan cheese, the lettuce was limp and smothered in too much salty dressing. We then each had a pasta dish. Mine was so awful, I could hardly eat it. We also had a bottle of sparkling water and my husband finished with a coffee. The bill was $78 before tip!

Gillian’s review is right. Went there on Mother’s Day and disappointed . Nothing really authentic about the food . Waiting service was below standard and lack of training very evident as we had to ask for bread rolls , after a long time being unattended. You don’t spend time talking to one couple for long periods at the expense of ignoring other customers . Food had soil in it which means they are not washing the items properly prior to cooking.Rissoto not even al-dente let alone cooked properly. After we reported the issues there was no attempt made to good service recovery especially when you pay premium prices on menus created specifically to charge high prices on this special day. If you want people back then good service recovery is very important as people appreciate that sometimes things go wrong. Nothing was done about it so I’m afraid we are not encouraged to return. We did not send the food back so manager should have taken that into account when dealing with the matter.

Large selection with a varied menu. Has all the favorites, but also some unusual, but always delicious, specials that you won’t find at most other Italian Specialty restaurants. Attentive staff, nice atmosphere. BYOB-always a plus!! Highly recommended.

Turned out great as I’d heard from some of my friends. I suggested this place to the team at my work place and we all tried it for the holiday lunch.
