Passing through headed to NOLA saw it on maps decided to stop by. Now if I was judging from the outside of the building, we may not have patronized but we got passed the outter appearance and gave them a try. Our food was fresh and the portions were plentiful. I ordered the crawfish fried rice, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting thinking of a fried rice but it was delicious! Love the spice. Hubby ordered chicken fried rice he enjoyed it, said it was ” pretty good, and I can tell it was cooked to order” I also tried the crab cheese rangoons… I would have liked a little more filling to pastry ratio but they were fresh,crispy and flavorful.
Overall, was it thee best I’ve had? No. Do I have to have them again the next time we’re passing through? No. But for what we were looking for today this hit the spot.

It had been awhile since I’ve been but trust me I will never go back. The place was dengy and not clean inside. There was a unpleasant smell as you enter. I should have just went with my gut and walked right out but I felt i should at least give it a chance well after ordering and sitting inside waiting at the table is when I noticed how yucky it was and that smell just kept turning my stomach. I bring home food and yes its a lot of food they give but it wasnt very good and the smell and nastiness just stuck in my head so my appetite wasnt good. The fried rice had nothing in it just plain rice with maybe soy sauce way back they use to have egg and veg in it from what I remember, pressed chicken and lo mein was nasty I had few bits and that was it dumped it in the trash the rest family felt same way and our stomach hurt all evening so something wasnt right.

45 years of my service in food industry very disappointed we ordered our food the waitress came in the door after the cook took our order no communication from the cook our order given to the wrong person so we now have to wait additional 15 minutes now they were given our plus there’s on the house we got late food and we are sorry PS. We are African-American others were Caucasian coincidence.

Food was fresh, hot, and bland. Soup was like hot water. Egg rolls were like cardboard. Fried rice was like cauliflower. Made fresh but lacks taste. The best thing on the menu was the root beer
