Pretty disappointed since the only reason we stopped in was to use a coupon I purchased and the value was less than the purchase of the coupon, and then they refused to honor it and I had to pay extra anyway. The variety and quality was so-so, I expected a lot more, especially considering the size of the building and being a specialty shop. The tables were dirty with crumbs, but it was cooler than outside at least. I don’t know that I’d ever go out of my way again to visit, but if I happened to be downtown and really wanted ice cream…maybe.

The ice cream is good! However, the overall vibe of the restaurant is a little uncomfortable especially with kids because it’s a little small and the play area was a quite dirty. During the summer, when you can eat outside, it is awesome. Just tougher in the winter!

Gelato Junction is a nice place to get a little gelato in hot weather. Their gelato is good. Their smoothies are a little bit on the syrupy side but decent (I recommend the mango one).

I don’t really like ice cream or gelato, I know what is wrong with me? But everyone else always has to have some so I get stuck trying to choke down something I don’t like. But not here! Wow! No lie, I actually liked my gelato. Palisade peach and Strawberry delicious! Well done getting an ice cream hater to enjoy something. I am impressed.

I’m lowering this to three stars. My wife and I paid $10 for the two of us today for which we usually get a lot more for our money. It looked like we only a single scoop today. $10 is too much for two singles. Additionally, one of the young ladies was quite dismissive. The staff they have working are usually very friendly. This latest experience has caused us to not want to go back for a while.
