My husband and I visited GDL on a Sunday afternoon in December. It was quiet only 3 tables occupied. Service and food was quick. I had Enchiladas Mexicana and he had a Chimichanga. Both included rice and beans. Both were hot, fresh and tasty. The price and portions were good. I will definitely be back.

My cousin and I just randomly stopped in for a late lunch. We are not from the area. We ordered off of the lunch menu. I had cheese enchiladas in green sauce with rice and beans. The food came fast it was hot and delicious! I would definitely go back if I was in the area. Who can beat a lunch for $10?!

We went with a party of 9 people. Plenty of table space and seating. The service was very friendly and quick. For a largish group of people, he made no mistakes! Lots of good choices on the menu, which was very well organized in categories. A good variety but not so much that you could be overwhelmed. They also let you substitute a few things if you’re a bit picky about what goes in. The food was delicious. Presentation was awesome. The chips were warm when they came out! Yum. I got a peek at the bar area, they have soft chairs with casters so you roll out. Kind of an upclass look to it. Looking forward to having Margarita with the girls in the future! Recommended low-key, hidden gem!

Oh my! This was so delicious! I swear every bite melted in my mouth I couldn’t stop eating but at the same time I wanted to take some home and enjoy it again later lol. Definitely gotta come here if you want Mexican food. The steak chimichanga and the burrito grande steak is really good. Also there sangria Margarita was tasty.

Stopped in on a cold nite couple days ago to get the chicken soup. Chips sucked-salsa had no flavor. Chicken soup comes out has little to no chicken in it. It was mostly broth,rice and avacado. This was my 2nd time stopping in cause the 1st wasn’t great either but was willing to give them a 2nd shot but won’t be going back. I do not recommend it.

Good food-no frills. Large menu selection. Lunch specials. Nice size portions. Service was quick. If you are looking for good Mexican food, definitely stop in. Large place with plenty of seating. No reservation was needed.

Some friends went to GDL for New Year’s Eve. They had one server for the whole place, including the banquet. It took forever to get a drink. The food was pretty much terrible. They turned away a party of 25 they had checked on reservations twice they had gotten married that day and they promised the people that they could nominate 25 and when they got there, they turned them away. It was the worst experience that I’ve had in a restaurant. I would absolutely never go back to this place again.

51$ for 2 adults, who even ordered water for lunch! When we walked in, I seen there was a lunch special for a burrito bowl 10$, and when we got the bill, it was 13$. We asked him why it was more money, and he said, lunch specials aren’t on Sunday, but then why have the sign up saying lunch special for that day at the front door? The food was “good” but the silence in that place was terrible. They had no music, which made having a conversation awkward Because you could hear every word of everyone’s conversation. So, we will definitely not be back with these prices!

We were out riding and noticed this restaurant and decided to try it. When you walk in you are immediately greeted and everyone is very friendly. We sat down pretty quick and they immediately brought us one of the best salsa and warm chips we have ever had at a restaurant. The wait staff was very efficient and made you feel welcomed. Our food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a great restaurant, try GDL Mexican restaurant.
