We had lunch on the patio. Wonderful, large umbrellas for shade. Peaceful afternoon overlooking the river.
We were seated quickly. Server was very friendly and helpful, maybe just a touch slow, but we didn’t really care because we were enjoying sitting outside.
Wide variety of offerings on the menu.
Grilled chicken sandwich with garlic aioli- aioli was amazing.
Blackened catfish sandwich- not really blackened. The coleslaw didn’t have much flavor.
Sweet potato fries were delicious.
Brown butter cake was fantastic.
Ice cream cookie sandwich- came out mostly melted. Also, didn’t have chocolate chips around the edge as menu stated.

On Sunday we threw a 40th birthday party for our daughter. It couldn’t have been a nicer day! Food was wonderful ( appetizers and a taco bar…) space was perfect… enough room for all the tables and a Photo Booth and Karaoke stage) and Gabriel and Ryan were wonderful to work with all through the process. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

We held a luncheon at Breakwater for 100 people last week, and it was executed flawlessly. Gabriel and the people at Breakwater are incredibly friendly, and they worked seamlessly to make everything perfect. Despite the complexity of serving three different plated entrees and accommodating several dietary restrictions, the service was excellent. They set us up perfectly for our brief business meeting and a speaker who followed. We received numerous compliments on the venue, service, and food, and we won’t hesitate to hold another event there.

Wanted to try something different for Friday fish. When we walked in there was a banquet going on, a few people in the bar and zero people in the dining room. We were greeted enthusiastically and seated. Service was ok, drinks ok. I had the shrimp hoagie, he had the lake perch. And he had the lake perch again when he started throwing up at about 10:30 pm. Maybe just an off night in the kitchen? Can’t say we will be back.

The views are just amazing, especially when outdoor seating is available. My boyfriend and I sat inside but could tell just how nice the view was. The food was pretty good, nothing to ride home about but very above average.

The management team is really wonderful and helped us set up a meeting space within one of their banquet halls. Gabriel, specifically, paid very close attention to our requirements and was very proactive and was a great communicator.
