Went around lunchtime Sunday before Memorial day and it was pretty dead inside. Was a bit worried, but that was quickly replaced with joy when we began ordering and received our food.Lady behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. Answered all our questions and offered meaningful suggestions.Kids got the chicken tenders and side. It was plenty of food well priced.We tried the brisket (alone and as sandwich), pulled pork, potato salad, Cole slaw, tots, Mac and cheese, fried pickles, and all the sauces.Everything was exactly as it should be, creamy mustard base (yellow) potato salad, tots were fried to perfection, Cole slaw was more vinegar based than mayo based, fried pickles were delicious and not soggy with grease like a lot of places. Pulled pork came seasoned which wasn’t a pleasant surprise, was expecting just pulled meat. All the sauces were good and I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the buffalo sauce, it had an excellent flavor. Brisket stole the show though, definitely get the sandwich with sliced (not shredded) meat.Overall this place is the whole package and beats the socks off any other place I’ve been for BBQ recently.
