With only one free night in central Indiana, I was so lucky to happen upon Gather Around BBQ’s brick and mortar location. Dinner there was the unexpected highlight of my trip. I ordered the half-rack of ribs, which were impossibly tender and flavorful. Jalapeño Poppers and Mac and Cheese were out of this world. We also ordered a BBQ’d pulled pork sandwich. The bun was perfect and the meat was out of this world. Service was fast and oh so nice. The ambiance perfectly suits the food, charmingly no-nonsense yet warm. 100% will go back any chance I get. (A perfect half-way stop between IND airport and IU in Bloomington).

This place was amazing. We figured we would stop by on the way home being out of town and im glad we did. Food was spectacular. Wife got chicken nachos and I had this platter that was for 2 people. I wanted all 3 meats and thats the only way to get it. That is the only downside .

We had an awesome meal at Gather Around BBQ in Martinsville, Indiana. Service was great!!!
I got the half chicken with whiskey BBQ sauce, plus coleslaw and potato salad! Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly.
My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and green beans, and he loved every bite.
The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and the outdoor seating made for a relaxing experience. If you’re craving delicious BBQ in Martinsville, this place is a must-visit!

We drove an hour to the local Rc shop and stopped here for lunch. We had the fried pickles and fried biscuits with apple butter for an appetizer. My daughter and I had the pulled pork. My husband had a burger and my son had the sliced brisket sandwich. My son says it’s the best brisket he’s probably ever had. Food was delicious and the service was excellent!

Ordered the Papaw Burger. This burger was juicy & delicious! My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich & it was stacked. He loves the baked beans. This place has a heated enclosed patio for cold days & it opens on nice summer days to get that beautiful breeze.

The food here was delicious! But you need to get these for staff some more staff! They were running around doing everything and they were overworked and overwhelmed. Which also backed everything up and made everything go very slow. We were there almost 2 hours just for a quick Meal that we shared. Also if you rearrange, I think you could probably fit in a few more tables. Definitely busy, so if you’re in a hurry, don’t go here. Also there was a two hour wait. The food was also Super slow to come out, but was all good.

We drove down to Martinsville for lunch today to check out this place.
It’s just a block south of the town square, with good parking on the street.
The wife and I had the loaded baked potato with brisket. To say it simply,it was delicious. The potatoes were well cooked and quite large and topped off generously with all the fixings. The best part was the brisket served on top,it was a large portion and BBQ ‘d smoked and tender.
The young lady who served us was very quick to seat us and take our orders.
The restaurant was clean and nice even though it was very busy.
I would have no problem recommending this restaurant.
