Stopped in to use the bathroom, really cool older gentleman working, reminded me of a hippie, helpful and super friendly.

Best little diner ever. Great service, great food. Stopped twice on our trip up north. Highly recommend. Read a review that Angie the waitress was rude, don’t believe it. She was absolutely awesome. Maybe it was the customer that was rude? I can’t say enough wonderful things about the service. Friendly, attentive, refills on beverages without asking, bill came out quick. Best find for a restaurant we have had in a long while. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Cozy little place in the middle of nowhere. Not a huge selection in the convenience store but more than enough to sate the desires of most anyone who visits this establishment. Very friendly service in both the diner and the gas station. Standard fare for a diner, the food was well cooked with good portions so don’t hesitate to try out this charming little stop as you head north, or come south, whatever the case may be

This is the spot for me as I travel quite a bit thru there, the food is down home good, and the service is outstanding, was with my best friend Mike and realized he had forgotten his phone, when called about it 1 day later on his phone, they were so happy as they had no way of finding out who it belonged to, so when did get there they had his glasses as well. Great people, if I had car trouble, I hope it’s there. Thank you everyone who works there!

Typical small town greasy spoon. Very good burgers w/ lots of fries. Usually only one waitress and one cook so can be busy and slow but worth it.

The Gateway Cafe was my parents favorite restaurant to go to. We would drive from Isle just to have a piece of pie and a cup of coffee and hot chocolate. I haven’t been there in years, and not to sound cliche, but it really was like going home again, especially since my parents are no longer here with me.
