Regarding the food, the beer cheese and pretzels were spot on with great flavor, and wings were perfectly cooked and coated.
Burgers are very good, and you can tell they use fresh meat.
Draft beers could have been a bit colder like most other places everyone enjoys going to.
My only disappointment was that the nachos and meatballs were definitely not heated up enough, which I was concerned about based on reviews, but these were ordered lastly.
Otherwise,I would recommend stopping by here and enjoying a meal and drinks or even an appetizer and a drink – just make sure and request that the food is served hot.
My only suggestion is to please ask if any kid menus are needed instead of asking a person if they want a kids menu. Our son is 17 but very short due to a medical condition. He was humiliated by the waitress offering him a kids menu. No harm was intended of course, but it may help spare another person’s embarrassment down the road.
I haven’t been a regular, but I’ve visited a few times and have consistently had a good experience. The food is solid, especially the burgers, which have always been well-prepared and satisfying. It’s a reliable spot if you’re looking for a casual meal and a good beer without overthinking it.
Overall, while it may not be a true “brew house,” it’s a place I’d definitely return to when I’m in the mood for a good burger and a wide beer selection.
It’s an average pub type restaurant, casual and comfortable. There were tables and chairs, higher pub tables and nice private large booths. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt.
We began the meal with the Buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips. It was quite plentiful and was enough for 4 people actually. The dip seemed as if it had been sitting a while and was very thick, as if cooked too long. It was a bit sour as well. The chips seemed homemade, and they were warm, but were a bit tough, and I did not like the flavor. The bourbon mule my husband ordered was very good, though.
My husband chose the 12-oz ribeye and I picked the 8-oz sirloin for our entrees, both medium rare. They both came cooked properly and were tasty, although I felt the sirloin was a little tough. I felt the cost was too high though, for the sizes. However, the fries were quite good and hot as well. None of the meal needed seasoning. The steaks also came with Cajun beans, which were very tasty; but somehow I felt they were oddly paired with a steak.
My husband ordered the “mini cinni” for dessert. It was vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce, served on a baked layer of graham cracker, sugar and cinnamon. It was quite small, but for the $5 cost it seemed right.
I would have given 3 1/2 stars, as it was at least an average experience, but that was not an option.
After getting home with the food, we couldn’t help but be completely disappointed. Everything but two of our orders were messed up. I had a bite from my boyfriend’s tacos first because he always wants me to make sure for him, and it was full of red onions. My mom’s salmon was buried completely under the rice as if the rice was just poured over it. And she hadn’t even gotten her Brussels sprouts with it. So one of us couldn’t eat for the night, and the other was a mess and missing a side. I wish I had gotten some pictures of everything. Safe to say birthday dinner was ruined.
Nice large open area with plenty of seating and TVs. Heck even most of the booths had their own private tv. Love the semi outdoor area with overhead garage doors.
If I had any complaints they are just minor. Place was almost empty for a Sunday lunch and had to ask for a refill and wait for straws. If I’m nitpicking that close, you know I am struggling to find complaints.
