Exactly what we were looking for. Great Country style food. Kids menu. Free refills. Ice cream shop. Friendly staff. Well worth the stop! Will stop here every time we go thru!

Hands down this place the best country cooking. A truck drivers heaven. Make me forget all about my load not being ready until tomorrow. Can’t wait to see if breakfast is as good as lunch.

Very little to offer. Our fruit was rotten in the center. Ordered 1lb of boiled peanuts to try, was served and charged for 3lbs. Boiled peanuts were amazing which was the highlight of this stop.

This is my go to place for delicious boiled peanuts! I really appreciate the fact that each day they go to so much trouble to first of all to get raw peanuts then to boil them up. I don’t know of any other place that does this. They also have a nice down home market for fruits and veggies, plus they have a cafe to boot.

If you really want to support local hit this place on your way to the beach! Great friendly owners/staff. The food is, if your midwesterners like us, the quintessential little cafe reminiscent of our childhood. Go get you some eggs and hash browns and classic cup of coffee.

We always look forward to eating at Gary’s when we travel through Andalusia a few times each year. It’s not fancy but clean and most importantly, the food is fabulous! The meats are not over-cooked and tough or rubbery. They are cooked perfectly. The vegetables are fresh and not overly seasoned. The biscuits, cornbread and desserts are perfect. And there’s always a good selection of desserts. My personal favorite is the banana pudding! You can have ice cream rather than a dessert if you prefer ice cream. The ladies who work there really make the restaurant special! They are friendly, courteous and delightful…and they make great ice tea which is a talent. It’s always a special treat to go there. We look forward to it.

Our new place to stop on way to beach. Buffet was delicious. Biscuits tasted like Grandma’s. I ordered a Patty melt. Good heavens that was the best I’ve ever had. Staff was helpful and attentive. Thank y’all for a great lunch.

A must try if you haven’t. We ALWAYS stop in. We love everything but the buffet at lunch is amazing! Good homestyle cooking. Make sure to stop by the shop and get some fried peanuts if they have them. We love this place!
