Really great, delicious, authentic food. One of the best you can probably get put here in Montana. Tacos are spendy for serving portion. Burritos seem to be priced the same as other burritos around town but haven’t ordered that before so I’ll have to get that next time.

This is the most authentic mexican food in Missoula!
My husband and I just stopped at their new location (near the airport) and chatted with the owner, he was very friendly! We’re so excited to see his business moving around and gaining the attention it deserves!

For Montana Mexican food, this is a great little Mexican food truck if you can catch ‘em during their limited hours. Their website says they’re open Tuesday – Saturday, 4PM – 8PM. I’ve had their quesadillas in the past which are great. This time, I decided to try their Birria which is their Mexican Shredded Beef. With San Diego as my original hometown I was excited to see it wasn’t the fake ground beef stuff! So, I got the Birria in the burrito and added (for extra $2.50, but worth it) cheese + Pico & onion w/cilantro. It’s not complete without these ingredients in my opinion. Needless to say I thought the Birria beef was excellent! Their carne asada is really great too (especially in their quesadilla). My significant other got the Bean & Cheese burrito. She thought it was really good and had good flavor. It’s not your classic refried bean burrito, just FYI. They have small salsa cups which were free. We both got a red & green salsa for ourselves. Both kinds do have good flavor, but my only slight criticism is that it’s too thin and watered down. I’m not certain if this is just how the last batch came out or if is a cost-cutting measure for FREE salsa. I don’t specifically remember this coming to mind when I ordered my carne asada quesadilla there the last time. Anyways, I totally recommend the food here if
you can catch ‘em when they are open. They share the parking lot with the ‘Imagination Brewery’ which serves the patrons grabbing a beer, but feel free to swoop in for some take out if you see them open!

Overpriced. The tacos were small and expensive. I ordered an asada taco and the meet was tough I didn’t even eat it. They ask 2 extra dollar for cheese in a burrito and we didn’t see it or feel it.

Good tacos and quesadillas, I enjoyed them. It’s just frustrating that they charge extra for the things you would normally expect to be included. Not even a slice of lime, really?? At $4/taco the price is not cheap and costs more than those at Mexican Moose. ¿Es un taco de verdad si no viene con un trozo de limón?

Coming back from Arizona, these are the most authentic tacos in Missoula. The Pico, cilantro, and onions were fresh and flavorful and chopped with care, the Asada and Birria were so flavorful and amazing. If they ever do Al Pastor, Cabeza, or Lengua, oh I bet it would be great!
