This was our first (of many more) visits to this restaurant. The ambiance and service is top notch, and the back of the house brings to each table beautiful and delicious plates. Thank you for making our 3rd year anniversary memorable and special! We will be back

Update – returned again for their (Sunday) AYCE homemade chicken n’fixings and spicy Bloody Mary’s for Fathers Day. Everything was delicious and lived up to the positive reviews.

The fried chicken was delicious. It is described as Cajun fried chicken – could be why people weren’t expecting it to be seasoned the way it was. We thought it was great.
The mashed potatoes were more like smashed potatoes – but they were also very good.
The corn casserole was a lot like a creamed corn. It was also good.
The biscuits were deliciously crispy and soft and fluffy.
The green beans were okay. The flavor was great – with a both of balsamic to provide acidity. But, neither of us really enjoy very al dente green beans. They were still crunchy.
Overall, it was a great lunch and we’d definitely go back again.
Their bar selection is great. If you’re a wino- you can bring your own for a very reasonable corkage fee or ask for the captains list.
Menu has plenty. I haven’t been disappointed yet. Steaks are great! Sides are good.
I’d say the chef loves salt. A bit much for me, but still beats driving for a steak some nights.
The desserts are homemade and usually a nice variety to meet what you’re feeling on a given evening.
They did a great job on the remodel and have a nice dining room upstairs and the bar area downstairs fantastic.
If there was one area of opportunity for Gallaghers, the service doesn’t meet the quality of food, atmosphere and pricing they’re going for. That said, they do have food runners so that part is efficient.
I’m still a returning customer and will continue. Just set the right expectations when you go in.
The reason this fails to have a higher rating is that for the cost, I expect more. While the food was good, it was not 30$ for three scallops good. When 3/4 of your plate is grits or a potato medley, it’s hard to justify that price.
I enjoyed this restaurant and may come back for future important dates, I definitely wouldn’t make it a normal thing.
The clam chowder had great flavor but was a little thinner than most chowders. I prefer mine a little thicker so it sticks to the bread better. Not a huge deal but my preference. The flatbread was another tasty option but it definitely needed more protein than what was given…or smaller pieces of protein spread out more evenly on the flatbread. The scallop entree was amazing for sure but only three scallops and for the price there really should be four or five at the very least. Fancy plating can’t hide lack of protein. ♀️
The prime baseball sirloin was probably my favorite. The portion size was much better than the scallop dish and it was super flavorful. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce was to die for. Definitely recommend.
The crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect ending to dinner. I didn’t even think I wanted dessert but I’m glad my friend wanted to get something to share…it hit the spot!
The service was so wonderful. I forgot the name of our server but he was a younger brunette man…kind, efficient, and knew his stuff about the food. The young blonde lady who assisted the server bussing dishes, filling waters, etc. was also super sweet with tons of personality! Great staff. Meal was paced really well by the kitchen, too.
The atmosphere is straight out of a Gatsby-like imagination. Super sleek and cool harkening 1920’s style…and I loved it.
