I go to this place all the time because it’s close to my house. I have given them many chances because I like to support local businesses especially Latino/mexican businesses. This place seems to progressively get worse and worse. They used to have this nice cashier lady but lately I see this young guy who seems to have no experience. The prices they charge do not reflect what they present on the menu. I bought a carne asada wet burrito off the specials menu and was charged 20$. What kind of special is that? The prices do not make sense given that the food often tastes less than sub par. I love Mexican food but after eating here I feel like it might be time to switch up my diet. They often don’t package things in a clean way either. Sauce will be spilling in my to go bags and napkins will be ruined. All around terrible experience and I don’t recommend you come here unless you are dying and literally have no other choice. I only regret I couldn’t give less than one star. 0/5

Living close by and having very little family , small owner style restaurants near we figured let’s give it a shot. Far from impressed. We ordered the Potato Taco’s and a chili verde wet burrito. The burrito was mid. 5/10 – spice was good but way over salted. It was “ok” . Now the potato tacos? Horrible. Burned old oil taco shells…. All it tasted like. Potato’s looked like they would have flavor. ZERO! Just tasted like old oil. We only ate the burrito. The price was $29.xx for the two items and came with a drink. Would I eat here again? Not unless I really really had to…

I quite like this place. Friendly staff and tasty food. I ve only had the asada burritos from them and I’ve been very happy each time. Salsa is on point as well. The red has a nice kick and flavor.
Support local businesses y’all!!!!!!

I ordered a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was greasy, but it was the “right kind” of greasy. It was tasty, and it came with so much guacamole and sour cream! The lobby is also upscale – simple, but quality materials and lovely aesthetics!

Went there last week from out of town looking for good mexican food and this place was definitely not it. We bought tacos de asada and al pastor and they were both so plain. Honestly like they just warmed up the meat in the microwave and made tacos and the tortillas were so plain as well. They tasted like normal store bought Mission style tortillas. Maybe their other items are better but the tacos were definitely not it. Also got an horchata and was so watered down, I was too embarrassed to go tell them anything and ended up just throwing it out. They dont have a salsa bar like other taco places and the salsas they gave were just ok nothing special.

I think this place is a definite improvement from the previous place. The quality of Asada was great! The guacamole consistency was off, but the flavor was fine. All and all it was great and I’m glad to have another food option so close to home. I got the conga burrito and my wife got asada fry’s. Both were really good!

Was very pleased with the food and service. This place has changed hands so many times, I hope these guys make it.
I had the cheese enchiladas and a carnitas taco with beans and rice. Everything had a good flavor and I am a huge fan of shredded lettuce on my enchiladas and was pleasantly surprised when they came out that way. The carnitas had a good flavor but it was not moist and tender. It was a little crusty like it came from the sides of the pan, so I probably won’t order those again. The green sauce they gave us had good flavor and a nice little bite to it.
Very glad to have a local Mexican food place with decent food, we’ve been waiting for you!

I wanted to give this place a shot, given that it seems to have only recently opened, and I honestly was not a fan. I tried their asada and found the taste of the meat to just be a bit odd. My girlfriend also didn’t enjoy it and described the meat as tasting like “leftovers.”
Not like it was bad meat, it was somewhatable acceptable, but the flavor just was not great. It didn’t taste like it had just been made.
I would be okay with that, because the price was actually quite reasonable, but I also noticed the woman who handled money at the register was also handling food without using gloves.
I would recommend the staff have the person at the register put on gloves if they’re going to handle food. I understand staff shortages are a thing, but they could also try having the person at the register just not handling food if they’re going to handle money.

Just visited for the first time. Food was great. i had a torta with carne asada, my wife a mulita with pastor. Both meats were good, flavorful. Decent horchata. Friendly service. I hope to return soon and explore the menu. Menudo was sold out by the time i arrived

I had a really disappointing experience at this location. The cashier—a heavy-set woman with glasses—was extremely rude and dismissive toward me. I couldn’t help but feel like I was being purposely ignored and treated differently because I’m Black. I stood at the counter waiting for help, and she avoided eye contact and served others who came in after me. No one should be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected because of their race. I won’t be coming back.
