So! Don’t believe the overall star ratings on this dive! Although the Owner and Waitress are very friendly as are her regular local elderly patrons! She has given up and it shows in the less than acceptable sub standard food products that she serves. Home fries are a canned potato and undercooked, with that nasty canned potatoes flavor. The toast is slathered with Whip, not butter! The eggs were cooked to my requested temperature, which was impressive, but lacked in the flavor department! Which is quite interesting as I ordered a Two egg Omelet with Hash and Cheese! But had literally no flavor! The Coffee was Bitter beyond belief! I must say! Throw yesterday’s leftover coffee out! Clean your pots, and descale your machine! She has the business for sale since September 2022. And her lack of everything and under- impressive everything will destroy any part of the Value of the requested asking price of 40K which does not include a location to operate! So you are buying a name and a bunch of run down furniture and equipment. Sorry to say, it was not worth half of the $18.00 price for garbage food! I hope this helps someone else avoid a total waste of money!

Food is good one day not so good the next. Breakfast with the grandkids was good and tasty. Went couple days ago and food was bland, fried potatoes white (like unfried), toast barely brown, and my drink tasted like whatever dish soap they use.

The absolute Smallest Diner/Restaurant, EVER. Most “Diners” have a counter to sit at…. Not this one. About 4 small tables, that’s it. You cannot help but be a part of your neighbors conversation. The place fills up constantly, the waitress is overworked and the cook ….. Is Overwhelmed. Food, Average at best. Eggs were served cold, coffee was anything but Fresh. Won’t Return, Ever.

I was at Nichols United Methodist Church just up the street from Gail’s Diner, but I here that the Diner is good. I have been there but it’s been a long time. It use to be very small and close tables. There food and service was good so I am rating it for at that time.
