This place has it all – the food is just DELISH, they have so many unique beers, the vault is just sooo cool to check out (you can even eat inside it!). And the service is 10/10. We will definitely be coming back to this charming place!

Gaetanos Vault is a hidden gem! Take a trip back in time to the roaring 20s and eat not only in a beautiful restaurant that used to be a bank, but one that was actually robbed during that era. When you first walk in you can’t help but notice how much detail was put into the resturant. The rustic bar, stained glass windows, and of course the actual bank vault that you can have a private meal inside. There is a beer wall outside and a gorgeous banquet room upstairs, this place has it all.

We went to meet up with friends that we haven’t seen in years. Went for brunch/lunch which was amazing stayed long enough for supper. The food on the supper menu did not disappoint! The staff was amazing. Never once got mad that we stayed. We also got a history lesson was neat to hear. The atmosphere is one of a kind. I truly recommend going. From the food to the staff you can’t beat it!

Great atmosphere. Super cool location. Olivia was a great server! 3 out of 4 steak had to be sent back for being under cooked, were still under cooked when they came back. Other than the steaks everyone enjoyed their food. Out of almost all their deserts which sucked.

We have been wanting to try the Sunday brunch buffet for some time now and it did not disappoint. Decided to make reservations for 130pm and it was not crowded at all with no wait time in the buffet line. Wow is all I have to say! I had been there once before when it first opened for dinner, but this was my boyfriends first time. Our waitress Laura was amazing, friendly, and excellent customer service throughout the whole time. So many food options to select from which was great to see. I knew I wanted more of the lunch side while my bf got both. He said the breakfast options were just as good as the lunch options and everything tasted beyond what we anticipated for a buffet style. You could tell the quality of the food was top notch and it was warm and everything was full of flavor. The Prime Rib ( which is as my favorite) was the best I have ever had ( I went back for a second helping…lol!) Thank you Chef Charlie!!!! I decided to get a Bloody Mary from the build your own bar which was delish!!! Last but not least….the desserts! Holy Moly the selection was great and we definitely left there ready for a nap. Thank you Gaetano’s Vault for giving us a great brunch experience!!!! I don’t mind spending money on good quality food that’s for sure and may God continue to bless you and your restaurant.

Love the ambiance of this place, it’s very nice! We had a good waiter, he was super nice and informative & was really working his tail off. I would have appreciated glasses of water set out when we arrived but had to ask for some. The cocktail was superior. It took longer to get our food than I expected, and it wasn’t crowded that night. The couple I was with enjoyed their meals. I did not. I ordered the French onion soup, but they were out. I ordered the garlic shrimp scampi, but the cook made me jalapeño shrimp pasta. Couldn’t taste the garlic or anything else. It was soooo hot, I had to take a drink of water after every bite. It was a disappointment. I ordered the cheesecake but they were out. I will give this place another shot down the road to see if it’s any better.

We went to Gaetano’s tonight with all of my family, there were 10 of us plus a baby. We ordered a few appetizers and entrees. Everything was going fine, it took a little while for our appetizers to come but that was ok. But after that everything went downhill. We had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for our entrees. Once our entrees arrived the food was luke warm, some of the steaks were burnt with the insides temps being medium, the baked potato was undercooked as well. We left very disappointed. The only upside to this meal was our amazing waitor Jamal! He was so kind and understanding and was trying to make it right, he also was one of the best servers I’ve seen in a long time

My husband and I just had our rehearsal dinner at Gaetano’s Vault. It was absolutely stunning and the food was amazing. We were able to hold our dinner in their upstairs venue/room where we had our own wait staff and bartender. The service was amazing and the food was perfect! We are truly grateful for everything for did for us. They went above and beyond to take care of everyone.

First I would like to say that we don’t frequent the town Streator, we were just doing some grocery shopping. We stopped at a pub prior to coming here where the coasters were thrown down on the bar along with menus, no greeting just a rude remark about how behind their kitchen was. We left immediately and found ourselves at gaetanos. The curb appeal is what brought us in. We got there at 2pm to find out that we just just missed the brunch they offer and the manager specifically asked the chef to still cook for us even though he certainly didn’t have to! It was awesome. The place is so neat inside. They have a whole outdoor bar with over 15 beers on tap and a super cool wristband scanner allowing you try as many beers as you want charging by the ounce. The food was absolutely phenomenal, I have not one complaint about it. Our bartender was amazing, making small talk, sharing history of the place. Really made us feel “at home”. We will be back here even though we live 30 minutes away! It’s worth the ride. 10/10 this is the best service I have had in years.

We had our first visit at Gaetanos vault for mothers day brunch. The food was excellent, our favorites being the omlette station and bananas fosters french toast! The staff was very friendly, including our server Emily. She checked on us often and made sure everything was great for us. The owner or manager, Ken, even stopped by to wish a Happy Mothers day and thanked us for making the trip from LaSalle. Definitely looking forward to coming back.
