We were passing through the area while in town to pick up our new puppy from a local breeder. Funte’s did not disappoint as a unique local’s spot with the best hamburger have had and I don’t know when! Next time I return to Wisconsin I’ll be finding my way to Funte’s for a great burger and a cold brew! Thank you to all the locals who were hanging out in this small but wonderful place and made us feel so welcome!

So incredibly good!!! I cannot believe the prices. We had 3 pieces of beer battered cod and fries for $9, the fish was amazing, like butter. Inviting atmosphere, jumped right into watching game shows with the owner and some regulars. Owner was hilarious and knew everyone by name as they came in. EXACTLY what a Wisconsin Bar and Grill should be like. Going back for burgers and they have homemade pizza. By the way, you can get fish everyday, not just Fridays. Real Deal. Tell Everyone. Don’t get me started about the cheese curds!

Went there for lunch. Stopped by the local sloop cafe today for lunch, but they had the back room closed off for some reason. But one of the people suggested we go to Funte’s. Good call.
Server was great , lunch was great. Had a burger, and was not over seasoned and was great. Prices are very fair. We were talked to and treated like we were welcomed there. Not snipped at or ignored. Asked if we’d be welcomed to start having our lunch get togethers here. And was meet with a healthy sure your welcome to have lunch here any time. Heard they have great pizza too. So look forward to trying it some day soon.

Small town dive bar vibes. The bartender could have been nicer. Don’t play music! If the owner doesn’t like it she’ll skip right through it. This place is decent enough if you are drunk enough

Ordered a rubin and Philly stake sandwich with garlic cheese curds, fries and onion ring. The Philly stake was tasty, tender and good seasoning. Overall great place, good food.

Customer service was terrible because the person who was working didn’t give all the customers attention nor ask if we needed anything. No credit cards are allowed and the ATM is outrageous for withdrawing money.

We regularly stop for a few drinks and a pizza when we are in town. Food is always hot and fresh and service is very friendly. Always have a good time!
