I love the food; but my waitress’ service was very unprofessional which made my dine in experience a negative one. She was rude and impatient. She served the entrée before the appetizers and did not bother to ask if I needed anything or if I wanted desert before closing me out. When I requested desert she never gave me a the desert menu. And once I ordered dessert she prepared it with the whip cream on the bottom of the ice cream to make the order look like it was a full scoop of ice cream when it was actually a half scoop. Her service was very poor. I like the food and on the many occasions that I have ate there this was the worst time.

This was my first time coming to this Japanese cuisine. I checked the reviews and they were promising. That is definitely not the case here. The atmosphere is very lacking but seating is cozy. I did get my food pretty quick which was concerning for the pork katsu I ordered. I took 3 bites and sent it back before I thought about taking pictures. The meat was gray. The waitress did take the item off my check but told me the meat was delivered yesterday. I don’t think so.. the flavor and moisture was not present at all. My friend had a spicy tuna roll and I laughed soon as I saw it! They put panko bread crumbs into the spicy tuna mix to stretch it out. Tbh very smart move! You can’t taste the panko but you can definitely see it. (Picture attached)

This is high quality Japanese food that is reasonably priced for the quality of food. My daughter and I love this restaurant! We have tried several dishes multiple times and have never been disappointed. I saw one review that said they were pricey and I don’t understand that. This was less expensive for us than eating at Outback or similar restaurant but higher quality. This is not an American style Japanese “Steakhouse” type of restaurant but I feel more authentic style of Japanese food.

The lunch special is a really good price for the quality. As shown in the photo, the filling is generous. I got the salmon skin roll and the spicy yellowtail, the salmon skin was very good and not overly crispy like some I’ve had in the past. The spicy yellowtail was tasty but not very spicy, although the flavor of the spice was there.

What a great surprise, the Ramen bowl here was excellent! Had the beef bowl and the broth was great! Look forward to the pork bowl next time. Also had Tuna sushi and it too was great, the Tuna tasted very fresh! Will definitely come here again!
