I’ve been going here for years and the last time I ordered, our Maryland Roll had slivers of crabmeat and the rest was breading filler. Thought it was a one-off so tried again with different rolls. ALL but one of the rolls are filled with this breading. The taste, let alone the consistency, is awful. I’m so disappointed that a go-to restaurant for us has stopped to ‘breading’ their sushi. The photo I’ve posted is three different rolls and the orangish stuff is all breading.

First time trying this place on a whim. Pleasantly surprised by this place! Sally was out server and was quite attentive and considerate to myself dietary restrictions (vegan). The kitchen made a tofu hibachi type meal and it was very tasty. My boyfriend enjoyed his hibachi as well but noted that the sauce was very sweet. We would certainly visit again!

I was disappointed with the food. The sushi didn’t taste fresh, fried rice had an odd smell and flavor. The vegetables didn’t even look like they touched the grill. I used to really enjoy their sushi, but I won’t be returning.

Been here since 545pm it is 703 and only have “some” of our drinks. They only have 2 chefs and claim that is normal for them. Do not come here thinking their 10 min wait is truly 10 mins. Haven’t even got the food to rate it.

What a great surprise, the Ramen bowl here was excellent! Had the beef bowl and the broth was great! Look forward to the pork bowl next time. Also had Tuna sushi and it too was great, the Tuna tasted very fresh! Will definitely come here again!

This was my first time coming to this Japanese cuisine. I checked the reviews and they were promising. That is definitely not the case here. The atmosphere is very lacking but seating is cozy. I did get my food pretty quick which was concerning for the pork katsu I ordered. I took 3 bites and sent it back before I thought about taking pictures. The meat was gray. The waitress did take the item off my check but told me the meat was delivered yesterday. I don’t think so.. the flavor and moisture was not present at all. My friend had a spicy tuna roll and I laughed soon as I saw it! They put panko bread crumbs into the spicy tuna mix to stretch it out. Tbh very smart move! You can’t taste the panko but you can definitely see it. (Picture attached)
I won’t be coming back to this establishment but you get what you pay for. Cheap prices if you’re looking for a quick fix or mediocre sushi.

The lunch special is a really good price for the quality. As shown in the photo, the filling is generous. I got the salmon skin roll and the spicy yellowtail, the salmon skin was very good and not overly crispy like some I’ve had in the past. The spicy yellowtail was tasty but not very spicy, although the flavor of the spice was there.
I also got the sushi appetizer, the fish tasted very fresh! The squid (I assume, as they were all chef’s choice and not labeled) nigiri was honestly the best that I’ve ever had, very flavourful and the texture was great.
