Had a wonderful dining experience at this Japanese restaurant recently. Their Lou Sang was fresh and flavorful — perfectly balanced with a nice crunch in every bite.
The Saba rice was absolutely satisfying, especially the grilled saba which was tender, smoky, and rich in taste. The salmon skin snacks were crispy and addictive — definitely a must-order!
I also love that the restaurant is pet-friendly, which makes it a great spot for casual outings. The seating area is air-conditioned, comfortable, and cozy — perfect for a relaxed meal with family and friends.
Overall, great food, great environment, and a pleasant dining experience. Will definitely come back again!

It’s not easy to find a pet-friendly Japanese restaurant, but this place really gets it. They even have an entire section dedicated just for pets! Mylo was free to roam around comfortably and was welcomed to sit on the chairs and benches like part of the family.
The food is tasty and the sashimi is fresh and satisfying. One small suggestion would be to improve the readability of the lunch menu, the text is a little small and blends into the dark background. Nevertheless, its a lovely spot we’d happily return

Having been around Uptown area for some time already, Fujisawa Kyanpu Bar is actually the second offshoot of Fujisawa Izakaya which is at another block of shoplot nearby.
The restaurant is designed to look like any other Izakaya places in Japan with Japanese songs playing in the background. Felt like having a meal in Osaka.
◾Set Q Sashimi Set at RM36.90 was an excellent value-for-money. For that money, you’d get 5 types of Sashimi (2 pcs each) and sides such as salad, fruit, aged dashi tofu, miso soup and lemon water.
◾Many add-ons available if you order the set and I went for hamachi sashimi 3pcs at RM11.90 & chawanmushi at RM4.90 – possibility is limitless.
◾ Tamago yaki was topped with mayo and sprinkled generously with bonito.
Come here for the lunch set – it’s worth every penny.

First time in Fujisawa Kyanpu Bar. The place is beautiful and also the best part is that they are pet friendly. Service was amazing, everyone is so friendly and accommodating to us. We ordered sushi platter, sashimi and some bites. They were really good. Highly recommended place for after work meetup or casual catch up with friends!

Came here with friends for lunch, which I believe is a less busy time. The space is cozy with a lot of interesting decorations and their menu is so extensive as well. We ordered a lot of food to share, as everything looks so good. The sashimi platter is awesome for sharing, but it did took quite some time to be served. The yakitori is recommended as there’s a lot of choices and everything is good.
The overall dining experience was enjoyable, waiting time could be a little long though and the price is slightly on the higher end overall. This is a great place to chill and hang out.
