A step into the Asian culture and food.
We were very well received by the owner and chef/sushi man who stands alone behind all jobs in the restaurant.
Food was fresh, well presented and delicious.
Pairing with Japanese beer and Litchi wine was amazing.
We will be back, that’s for sure.

Super fresh and the sashimi is delicious! So satisfying!
The owner is very friendly.
Teoh highly recommended us to try his tempura next time. We did return to try his tempura and it was super nice and light. This will be the dish I will always order.

Its a one man show and yet service was very sublime. Host exudes a very warm and homelike feeling. Sushi and sashimi were prepared meticulously. Sushi rice was perfect not too grainy not too soft and wet as you chewed. Certainly coming back.

At the mere age of 12 Sushi-chef Desmond Teoh started helping out (after school) in the restaurant of his father until the end of secondary school. The family restaurant Rojak Kerang is famous in Gurun, Malaysia for its signature dish with Calamares.
Desmond wasn’t only thrown in the life of gastronomy, but he fell in love with it.
Arrived in Belgium, Desmond was eager to learn more about different types of kitchens. Eventually after 10 years experience in the Chinese kitchen and 9 years experience in the Japanese Kitchen and creating his own signature dishes, he opened his own restaurant.
Few people actually know that the idea of Sushi originates from China. So the combination of his experience in the Chinese and the Japanese kitchen is a good match.
Fuji-San stands out for its fresh products and its big variety in fish. Everything is made at the moment of delivery, to guarantee the freshness.

It’s a decent samll Japanese restaurant. They serve very fresh and tasty fish dishes. There was only one man behind bar cooking and I believe he is the owner. We didn’t ask if he is Japanese but I can tell from his authetic cooking. A quiet place to enjoy your meal. Its worth a visit if you are happening near there.

The food at Fuji-San was amazing, every dish showed genuine craftsmanship and flavour. We ordered the Menu Fuji-San, which was super delicious and more than enough. The owner was super friendly and welcomed us warmly. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back!
