I ordered white meat sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice. I was hoping it was a quality chinese place and not one that puts filler (flower dough) instead of actual chicken. As i inspect it, EVERY SINGLE PIECE of “chicken” was filler. Will never go back, they are disgusting scammers.

I have been going to Chinatown Kitchen for my takeout ever since the Chinese restaurant in Rock Hill closed in about 2015. Chinatown Kitchen is your model take-out provider. It is clean. It has a large and varied menu (although I recommend ordering less esoteric entrees, preferably within the Cantonese selections). The woman who takes orders and serves as cashier is charming and fluent. She has even extended herself on occasion by bringing my order out to my car parked in front (I am elderly and somewhat mobility limited). Portions are large and many entrees and appetizers and soups have smaller options. Chinatown Kitchen will not make you forget the best Chinese restaurants in New York City, but it is a good reliable option when you have a yen for Chinese cuisine.

The girl who took my order on the phone, so sweet, service great love food so authentic coming from a real chinese. Came all the way from California just to taste this. Was recommended by someone. Great. Excellent!!!!!

Was supposed to be garlic sauce but it’s regular brown and broccoli hard as if they just warmed it up and put it in bowl sad definitely not the same fell off completely never eating again.

Up here in upstate New York, this is what we call heritage cuisine. The food of my people. And by that, I mean: Jewish comfort, wrapped in an egg roll, dripping in duck sauce. They did mix up my order once, but I have forgiven them.

It’s a little rundown (which we all know is a positive sign) but sadly they do not deliver. There are vegetarian options if you look for them.

Bottom line: It’s greasy, it’s glorious.
