Hands down the BEST sushi I’ve ever had!
Met my sister and her husband for lunch today, and it was incredible. The fish is unbelievably fresh, buttery, and perfectly prepared—no fishy taste whatsoever. Tried several rolls (including some specials), and every one was spot-on with generous portions and amazing flavor balance. Friendly service in a cozy spot—this Huntington Beach gem is a must-try for anyone who loves top-quality sushi.

Food and vibes are great but the fact that there no host and you cant ask when will you be next is just horrible. We came here for dinner and all you see if a iPad and be ready to wait for over and hour . Is what the iPad says then come to find out that’s just an estimate so you gotta wait about another 25 to 35 minutes to get seated . And they don’t take reservations what kind of restaurant is this? So if your hungry I highly recommend not coming here because your going get hangry and your dinner mood will turn out with a lot of frustration!!!!

Very good sushi and rolls!! Sashimi is very fresh and the cut is thick as I like it. Small restaurant but service is awesome and fast. Wait can be long during weekend and dinner time. Price is very affordable. Will come back!

Our new favorite sushi spot in OC!!! everything was so good we could not believe it! We got HB Roll, Oyster Shooters, Ghost Roll, Albacore special roll, and Tuna Special (in the order of the photos)! We sat at the bar and our sushi chef even helped us out with some recommendations after observing what kind of flavors we like, everyone was super friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back here!

One of the best!! Irassae is one of our fave spots in OC it’s one of the few places that offer sweet shrimp. Their sashimi is always very fresh and prices are pretty good. They also have the best uni and oyster shooters, flavorful and fresh! Highly recommend trying!

Irasse is the ultimate Hidden Gem. Lots of tables packed into a small restaurant, and the place is packed starting at 5:30! But it’s well worth the wait. Delicious sushi, amazing rolls, and great appetizers. The Sushi chefs are extremely friendly, as is the wait staff. Get here early, or expect to wait an hour. But it’s worth it!!!

We started with the Scallop and Tuna Specials, which were so flavorful they didn’t even need soy sauce. The green mussel was a delight, and the “Vincent Handroll” was an absolute favorite.
Don’t miss out on the Ghost Roll – it’s a flavor explosion! The staff is friendly, the ambiance cozy, and every dish we tried was a hit. If you’re craving authentic, delicious sushi, Irassae is the place to go. Can’t wait to return and try more off-the-menu specials!

After driving nearly two hours, we were rewarded with an unforgettable dining experience. Every sashimi and roll we tried was nothing short of exceptional. The freshness and quality of the fish were evident in every bite. If you’re a fan of top-notch sushi and expertly crafted dishes, this restaurant is a must-visit. The HB roll, in particular, was out of this world. We’ll definitely be back for more!
