For a habatchi this food is good, you get a good sized plate and the atmosphere is nice. Good for families, kids, dates. Dress casual to upscale but mostly everyone is casual. Steak had a decent amount of fat cooked with it on my plate, I personally do not like fat but hey, it was good. Enough food bought with 2 people to feed 3.

The food is really good. It seems little better and cheaper than hunoda. The sushi was good. Great atmosphere as well. The chef was not very interactive,,kept his head down and didn’t say much, nor did I see a smile. But it was fun.

Fuji’s is a fun place to eat with really good food. We ordered the steak, fried rice, and shrimp; which are tasty, and the chefs cook right in front of you while doing cool tricks. Our chef was especially great with the kids—he made them laugh and even them a HUGE fire volcano! The whole family had a good time.
The food is great, but the best part was how nice the chef was to the kids. He made the meal extra fun for them, and that made the whole time more enjoyable. If you want a meal that’s delicious and keeps the kids happy, this is a great spot!

We sat at a table with 2 other couples, had a reservation and were seated immediately.
Had the Early Bird special of steak and chicken and shrimp and chicken. It came with a mushroom soup that was just broth. In my opinion they could serve a better soup. The chicken had too much soy sauce so was too salty. Other than those two things the food was good . The young chef is learning so wasn’t very entertaining but did a fine job cooking our food.
We will definitely go back again.

I made a bday reservation for 7pm . We arrived at 7pm and was not seated till 845pm due to “manager overbooking ” . We had 6 adults with 2 hungry kids.
The place was very busy so no waiting area was available inside. We waited outside for one hour 45minutes.
the front staff did the best they could to appease everyone while waiting.
Once we were seated, the service was overall good. The cook was very engaging,funny and down to earth . Our waitress was not very friendly and seem like she was in a hurry and not very attentive interns of taking orders and refilling drinks. The meal was good.

One of my favorite restaurants in Springfield. One of the best Japanese hibachi restaurants I have ever been to.
The steak and shrimp were delicious. I loved they served noodles with their meal. The salad and onion soup were great.
The restaurant wasn’t overly busy. I prefer to go during lunch when the prices are cheaper.

Ive been going here for 20 years! I have been to them all! Took my friend for his first time Japanese food there yesterday. He loved it and I got the tofu this time for my protein portion and it was the best tofu I have ever had! Cool scenery too!

My husband and I come to Fuji every chance we are in Springfield. We never have to wait too long to get in and the chef always does a great job. We get so much food for the price and everything is always top notch. Wouldn’t go to another hibachi in town as we have tried them all and this one is by far the best.
