I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant.

I asked for extra towels from the woman wearing a pink shirt who was sitting near the entrance, preparing forks and spoons for incoming customers. She seemed to have difficulty understanding English, which I completely understand and respect. To make it easier, I politely pointed to the towels under her table.

She responded by saying “Table,” but I didn’t understand what she meant. I looked around the nearby tables trying to figure it out. Suddenly, she shouted “Table!” at me in an angry and rude tone. I felt very uncomfortable.

I decided to walk back to my table, and she followed me while continuing to shout “Table.” It was unnecessary and very unprofessional. I later found the tissue box on my table, but there was absolutely no reason for her to react with anger or shout at a customer.

Customer service matters. Unfortunately, because of this rude behavior, I will not be returning.

So it’s been several years since I have been here. I was here multiple times the first week that they opened Back when it was only $7.99 for the buffet…so, a while. I am happy to say that they have improved greatly, the food was hot, the bins were constantly being refilled with new food, the food they had was good, and I’m glad that I made the trip back in after so Many years. The buffet today was $14.99, but that’s just the sign of the times.

Our family celebrated a 90 birthday with family and friends at Fuji’s. The food was very good. They have a great selection of food, good choices for all ages. Our server Annie was excellent! She was assigned to our group of 25. She was very sweet and helpful. We could not of asked for better service!

This is my first time here. I would say the food was better than average for a Chinese buffet and definitely presented better. It had a decent selection of sea food. I was seated at a table neat the door and the food, but there are a few booths towards the back. There seem to be multiple separate rooms, so I think you could do some kind of group meal.

This has been a favorite of my family in past years. When I found myself in south Grand Rapids with some friends I thought it would be a great idea to visit again. The food was not as good as I remember nor was the selection but it wasn’t bad.
The real problem I ran into was that while we were there for about an hour in which there apparently was a “dinner” change over. It seems there are some options on the buffet that those charged the lunch rate are not entitled to. A woman came onto the dining room floor, and loudly yelled at the waiters and waitresses near us in what I expect is Chinese. She then stormed over to my table and yelled at me in broken English and pointing to items on my plate. She told me, gesturing to my bill in her other hand that I could not have those items because I was being charged for lunch not dinner. I apologized explaining I didn’t realize the difference and I didn’t know which I was being charged for. She told me forcefully and loudly that I could not do it again. It was embarrassing in front of my friends, but understandable I guess.
Unfortunately for me that wasn’t the end of it. Later the bill was brought, no extra charge and we got up to pay at the register at the door. We had overheard another group ask about where to pay and they had been told at the front and it seemed quite obvious. Before we could exit our booth a waitress literally ran over and pointed to our bill for our payment. I gave her my card slightly embarrassed and still sensitive from the earlier mistake. She returned my receipt and left the table while I calculated a tip and signed it. Again we moved to get up from the booth and she literally ran over again to grab the signed bill and snatched the pen from the table I front of me as if I intended to take it with me. She then took my bill about 10 feet away and scrutinized it closely. She then brought it to another waiter showing it to him and spoke to him in Chinese seemingly asking a question. He looked over the bill and shrugging handed it back. She then took the bill and went back into the kitchen rather than taking the bill to the front register. I was left with the feeling that the earlier angry woman had told them to watch me closely as a thief.
In the end my friends had a good natured laugh at my expense over the ridiculousness of the situation, but I dont see a real reason to go back. There are other options in Grand Rapids with better food and far better service I think I will introduce my friends to.

They re-did part of the interior, which looks nice. But my brother, father, and I went for lunch today and they demanded that we tip them before we even sat down. We asked for waters on the way to our table, and in response the hostess made it a point that we should tip our waitress, implying that we wouldn’t tip because we ordered waters. Not cool. That was a huge turn off and we don’t plan on coming back. A tip is earned if service is good, it’s not a default.

I love the food, but when i go in with my dad they watch us like a hawk due to the fact he doesnt eat there. It isnt worth the money to him seeing as he cant eat much. Only way we dont get treated like that is when he gets a to go box

Update. They have started asking who’s eating knowing it’s always me. Service is getting worse and causing both of us to no longer want to be here. They have started putting us where they can watch us closer every time. It feels like we’re in prison when we just want to eat. They also didnt clean the cup i got today very well. I wiped lipstick off the rim. I dont wear lipstick and obviously neither does my dad who is the only one who comes here with me

The food was mostly tasteless and mushy. The lo-mein and fried rice was cold. It really felt like they are using the cheapest ingredients and cutting corners. The staff was friendly and the restroom was clean. I don’t like to give low ratings but the quality of the food was quite disappointing and I definitely would not go back here again.

It was so delicious, the have all kinds of deliciousness. They have Hibachi, sushi, and lots of other good Asian food, and on top of that, they got various sorts of desserts too, and ice cream! As an Asian girl from Taiwan, I’d say they have it done right, love everything I had and for the price we paid, it was definitely a good value, will go back for sure!
