It was a pleasant surprise to find an authentic North Indian restaurant in Pleasanton downtown. Food was tasty & portions were more than sufficient for the three. Service was quick & cordial. Loved it.

Good ingredients and careful control of spices and flavors makes the dishes taste fresher and more subtle than at other Indian buffets. In comparison, many other buffets in the area have reheated and overseasoned dishes that taste too salty and oily, leaving you feeling tired afterwards. Dessert, gajar hawal (carrots), was also excellent. To get a seat, I had to waive down a waiter rather than be asked. Once I was seated solo at the bar, however, service was fine. As lunchtime was packed and their space small, it was quite noisy inside. Located in the Pleasanton Town Center, parking is a bit of a hassle. For my second visit, they had Sooji Halwa, an amazing desert made from Semolina. Even the ubiquitous Tikka Masala had much more complexity of flavor compared to what’s found at typical buffets. The buffet definitely emphasizes quality. Fair $11.99 ($13.10) price (buffet lunch every day) with a parking lot out back.

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered the Kofta Curry, and it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The curry was completely bland, and the koftas tasted spoiled—it was inedible. But the horror didn’t stop there. I went to use the restroom, and it was filthy, the most disgusting restroom I’ve seen in any restaurant. On my way back, I saw the kitchen, and it was a total nightmare—grease and buildup everywhere. The hygiene here is beyond questionable. This restaurant should be shut down. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

Our go to spot in Pleasanton for Indian food. Never disappointed. Love the Pesto Naan!! Dishes may have similar names but are not prepared the same way that you find in most North Indian restaurants. Reserve a spot on the weekends otherwise hard to squeeze in more adhoc.

It’s a decent small size restaurant. We had lunch buffet and all veg dishes tasted good. A starter, dal, 2 sabzis and white rice and a dessert. Naans were soft. But there are only few items in the buffet as compared to other buffets in East Bay that charge the same price.

This place has the best tandoori stuff in the bay area! Hands down! You got to try it. Samosas are not bad either! Curries are alright

Went here for lunch on a Sunday and ordered a lot of food – vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
We ordered Hariyali Kofta, Butter Chicken, Bohri Chicken, Five Spice Calamari and their Bread Basket. Their Hariyali Kofta was good with a nice Cashew taste to the curry. So was the Bohri Chicken. It was nice and differently spiced. I liked it. Their Calamari was a complete let down. No spice at all. Potato chips would taste better. Might come back for another try.

Arrogant and rude staff. Just because they have their seats full, they decide to serve attitude instead of food.10 mins in and no one comes to attend us even with water. When we were about to leave one waiter comes in and starts yelling you guys are just standing and how can i come to attend. When we tried explaining he kept repeating the same thing. Dunno why they have just one waiter at such a busy place, that too an obnoxious one

I LOVE their tandoori chicken and we come here quite often to sit on their sweet outdoor patio or take it to go. It’s delicious and the staff is always so friendly and pleasant.
