The decoration of the place is really beautiful and original! The view of the frozen lake was incredible! And the food was actually tasty… The only complain I have was that the young waitress who served us, and the hostes that recieved us had long faces and where actually rude. But I must mention, I was the only foreign person there. In other words, I kind of didn’t fit in, so maybe that was the reason why they behave the way they did…

.. I’m so glad new owners brought this place back to life. Ive been snowed inn since like Christmas. Still close enough to call & order great food for pick up.✅✅. Reuben might be the best I’ve ever had! Someone cooks with passion this food is awesome.The bartender’s service is excellent. This burger is huge, bigger & thicker than a whopper. ✅ Made to order, cooked how you like it. Onion rings are huge with real onion not minced✅ The manager & other bartender are really nice guys. I hope they stay open all winter. The is nice relaxing atmosphere. They have a pool table. This is the best beach around to relax with your kids, and can have fun. Food & drinks all in one. Id rather support local businesses anyday.

Onion rings were very greasy to the point that I couldn’t eat them. Prices are really high. We spent over $60. for two people for a basic meal which is what we normally pay for four of us at Texas Roadhouse. People were very pleasant.

We have not been to the frog pond in years. We were waited on immediately, which was nice after that we had ordered a drink at the bartender did not make it the way it was asked to be made. We had to send the Drink back. We ordered a simple meals, spaghetti, and meatballs. The meatball was like it was all crusted on the outside with not much flavor. They said they don’t have garlic bread there or bread so The waitress said maybe she could get some rolls. When our meal was served, it was served without any bread or rolls, but she said They do have garlic bread and it would be coming. We waited or at least we tried to wait, but then we ate and I had half of my meal gone before we even received any garlic bread. I give this very mediocre service food and establishment. Our bill was $50 which I think for any price we should’ve had A good meal and enjoyable. We didn’t say much too the waitress because she couldn’t do anything about it anyway we will not be going back.

Horrible experience, we got there at 610 we did not receive our food till 730. I ordered a burger and fries, my wife order wings , son ordered pizza and daughter ordered chicken strips. There’s no way food like that should of taken over an hour and half. Then at the 45 min mark they brought my son his pizza and my daughter apple sauce and basically told us to be patient. The food was less than average. It was not busy In there the slightest bit. Open tables and no wait time to be seated. Zero excuses I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. To top it off we went real Christmas tree shopping and my kids just wanted to be home to set up tree.

First time eating here! Just got into town and wanted a bite to eat. Ordered a burger and fries. The burger was seasoned pretty well and hand pressed!! Fries were hot and crispy. The waitress was great!

We get there 30min before the Steelers game today and get right in. We ask for table close to TV for the game…we were about 20ft away, so good. They call themselves a Steelers bar. Well…they have some Steelers signs out front and ONE big decoration inside. BUT…most importantly, they had the game on and sound turned up. Place wasn’t packed but enough Steelers fans that we got loud. No opposition fans….Which I liked. Only Steelers fans. Even played ” Here We Go” when game was over. Food was good. Wait staff very nice but spread a little thin…only two for the whole place, so waited a little for food…but not bad. This is the closest thing to a true Steelers bar I’ve found. I drove 1.5hrs to get here…and will come back next weekend.
