First time here in many years. I am aware owners have changed and I was not impressed. The server was nice and did their best as a new person on the job. I ordered a philly cheese steak and it arrived with barely warmed green peppers no onion and a few bits of beef with cheese. Not at all what I’d consider a cheese steak, also the bun it was on was dry. I didn’t even eat it. If they have a new chef I’d say they need some more training. One last comment why don’t places with a bar have actual lime juice?Not roses stuff just regular lime juice. Not sweetened, not lime slices. I couldn’t currently recommend it.

It was so nice to be back at the Pond. My family has been CL’ers since ‘31. In my lifetime, the (Frog) Pond has been our go to. Tonite’s dinner did not disappoint! The roast beef smothered in home made gravy w/ a jus, crispy fries was perfect. Thank you Terri! So glad the aquariums, greasy looking frogs and red drapes are gone. They had their run. It’s a new day! See you soon !

The steak was more fat than meat… not happy. And if you have 8 or more people you’ll get charged 20% more. Waitress was good service. It use to be a good place to eat… Won’t come back.

Our server did the best she could. The kitchen, on the other hand, did not. Our food took about an hour or so. An order of 10 wings came out with 8 (was still charged for 10), a different order of wings tasted like grease not butter and garlic.

me and my group of friends (we are all 16 and have jobs to help pay for cars and other things) we don’t have much spare money but we decided to support the local business and pay the 14 dollar fee to ride one slide. then it rained and we all rode about once or twice and they closed it because of weather. and being responsible teens we asked for a refund and the “big man” kept walking away and saying it wasn’t his problem and he didn’t control the weather. basically acting like we were human beings he was being rude about it.

Disappointed. I finally got to come to the frog pond restaurant this year, my family couldn’t afford to take us growing up. The employees barely acknowledge you, it smells bad, looks dirty. I didn’t even want to finish my drink. Got really bad vibes.

Went during our annual vacation. Almost every time before the food was good, service was okay. This time though, the service was laughable. Waitress seated us, then we ordered. Almost two hours pass before we get our food. The food was average. The waitresscame back about three times total. By the end, we were not happy. What happened was a semi-large group had came in and our order got put in the completed pile. The waitress was very apologetic and gave us free dessert on her. So if you see a large group arrive, just turn around and leave, unless you want to get your meal the morning after.

My family members had a mixed experience today but mostly bad. The food was fine except for the price and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The beach was empty likely due in part to the bee problem all over the sand. The owner’s son had a huge attitude when approached about possibly spraying the bees. One woman and her kids left as soon as they walked in and saw the bees. The staff was talking about and criticizing them after they left. Lifeguard said the bees had been sprayed several times but were still there. The men’s bathroom was disgusting. The cost of both entry onto the beach and the food were way too high!! The water slide was inoperable and staff said it had not passed inspection. Not going back again.
