wow, I cannot believe how disgusting this place was. the ambiance, the pastries, the service. first of all, it’s dark, dingy, and very dirty inside. I love hole in the wall places, but there’s a difference between mom and pop shops and straight up health code violations. I felt like my presence was bothering the owner and I was being rushed to make a choice for a pastry. my boyfriend got a disgusting baklava and I got an orange donut. both tasted like they were made a week ago. needless to say we will never be coming back, and I’m surprised this place hasn’t been shut down.

I really hate writing bad reviews because I want every business I visit to be a great place for others. However, I would not recommend this deli. I did some research and thought this place would be exactly what I was looking for without having to travel far and wide for the pastrami sandwich I craved from my past. Nope. This sandwich was a disaster. Greasy, salty, very thinly sliced meat and it had tomato on it. New to me. Never had an authentic pastrami sandwich with a tomato. Not to mention, it was very pricey and not worth the cost. I was so profoundly disappointed when I had to throw 2/3’s of it away.

This bakery was so quint and the two gentleman were so wonderful you step in and it’s like stepping back in time. We loved the Pastrami sandwich and we got Mediums and my boyfriend finished his but I couldn’t finish mine so I got a doggie bag. Then we got to pastries and OMG what a selection of delicious homemade authentic pastries I bought a bunch of different ones because each one tasted awesomely and he told me that he had made them just for me and smiled brightly and couldn’t resist. We definitely will going back to see Mr. George and his colleague.

We visited for our first time today. I’ve been wanting to check this out for years, but we’re always here in the evening hours. It is a small family bakery and deli with wonderful looking pastries and desserts!

Just moved in down the street and BEST pastrami sandwich you will have in your life! Orange donut, croissant, and chocolate cake are also 10/10. Amazing espresso. Love the owners they treat you like family. Quality prices for quality food I have 0 complaints. I love the old school homey vibe of the place as well. Will be returning as often as I can

The best Pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had since Big Daddy’s subs closed on Hampton blvd. And it’s not even close. Love everything about this place. Great people and great service. Was gonna post a better picture but once I took the first bite I couldn’t stop. Lol

Fantastic! Shame we’re not local to the area or this would become one of our regular joints. The sandwiches are AWESOME, kind of sandwich that hits the spot when you need something quick on a lunch break. The pastries and sweets were fantastic, too. Those, however, are pricey, though I have no complaints about the price because I’ve made linzer cookies, eclairs, etc at home and that stuff is NOT quick and easy. You pay for the labor. There’s probably just one person cranking those out and that person is working HARD. A lot of negative reviews seem like those customers were expecting something a little more commercial – don’t go into a small-owned down-to-earth business and expect Panera Bread kinda stuff.

We stopped in to buy a loaf of bread, and ended up with 2 donuts, 2 baklava and 1 bread pudding in addition to the loaf of bread. Bread was decent, donuts had a nice orange flavour, baklava was not overly sweet. However, the cost of our selection was quite a shock – $6.50 each for the bread and bread pudding, and $29 total. The items we got were good, but they weren’t $29 good – the 3 * rating is due to what I perceive to be very high prices.

Its definitely not a place for Gods chosen people of the SUN! They are either trafficking drugs or kids in this facility they had no scent of cooked food && the owner was very rude fidgety as if he had something to hide and the woman looked like she’d had enough. This family has probably taken out some ppl might even be feeding you them
