Do yourself a favor and get a chocolate drip cake from here! You don’t even need an excuse, I got a “just because” cake with no judgement from the staff! 😉 Everything I’ve tried here is so good! They do SO much more than cakes. When I’m driving through Florence, I’ll pop in and get some treats to bring home! I love that you can buy just one of a lemon square or donut and try a variety of things! It’s also priced very reasonably in my opinion!

Freeman’s Bakery did a spectacular job on a sheet cake for my friend’s book signing. I texted them a picture of the book cover and they where able to make an exact replica. The cake not only looked appealing it was also delicious. They do Amazing work!!

My husband purchased a sheet cake on Saturday and when we got home to cut into it, the frosting was hard and the texture of the cake was mushy/gummy. By the time we got home on Saturday, y’all were closed and won’t be open again until Tuesday. Almost $30 for a cake that has hard frosting, tastes funny and that you can’t even eat is totally unacceptable!!!

I ordered a cake for my birthday party and the girl helping me was super nice. I came the next day to pick it up and a different woman was there and acted like she had no idea what I was talking about when i told her the name for the order. She finally found it and when I went to close the box she came running from behind the counter yelling “there’s a reason it’s open”. I appreciate that she didn’t want me to mess it up but it was the delivery of her response. Typically, you are able to close cake boxes but she didn’t inform anyone until I went to close it at was very rude about it.

Everything we’ve had there has delicious. Unfortunately, the last three times we have put in an order for pick-up days in advance (a Christmas party, birthday party, and today a school party) they have (1) not had it ready, (2) have been confrontational with us about our expectations that an order will be on time and (3) have been rude trying to rush the order in a short time frame.
