Love visiting Freddy’s for the custard! The staff was helpful and very friendly. We dined in on a super hot Saturday. Plenty of seating available, not too crowded. 2 of us tried chicken tender meals with the new orange and lemon frost drinks. The other meal was a spicy chicken sandwich with chili cheese fries. Also got the peanut butter cup banana sundae which was delicious.

My wife loves Freddy’s because it reminds her of Midwestern restaurants like Steak ‘n Shake and Culver’s. In comparison, Freddy’s is a tier below those places. I find their food to be greasy and uniform in flavor. If you like burgers and fries, and especially fried food, you’ll love it. I do like their cheese curds, although I feel like it’s a heart attack in the making.

1st visit at a Freddy’s for food. I utilzed a free Veterans Day coupon for a combo meal. Tihe custard based Turtle is an excellent desert that I have had 4 times previously.

The bacon double cheeseburger combo I had included tiny fries which I didn’t care for. The burger was so salty I couldn’t eat all of it. The drink station was not working. Not even the ice. The ice tea was very watered down.
The wife’s chilli cheese dog was good. She didn’t care for the fries either. The ketchup package condiment bin had all the packages stuck together with old exploded ketchup. Washed up my hands and tried the ketchup dispenser and little paper cups. Dispenser would only dispense a very small amount per push and only had 2 paper cups available. The dispenser was full of ketchup. Told an employee and he provided clean packs.

My Turtle Sunday was great as always. I utilized my app sign up and award for a regular concrete caramel for the wife. She liked it but commented that the caramel shake from DQ was better. At this point I would only return for Turtle Sunday.

*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don’t get to pick one. No we don’t care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

The food has always been hot at this place. The fries are the thinnest I’ve had at any restaurant. Good customer service. There are always seats available if you decide to eat inside or outside.

Come for the burger, stay for the fries, and the dessert, and the service.

Freddy’s fries are to answer to the question, what is new under the sun for French fries. Awesome texture and crispy-delicious.

I was greeted immediately and my order was filled quickly. Maybe they could see I had not been to a Freddy’s before, or maybe they are nice to everyone. This place has a classic drive in diner look and feel, but less greasy griddle.

Everything was excellent. Plenty of room to park and there is outdoor seating available as well. Music over the PA is awesome for the atmosphere. Even the manager stopped at the table to check on things.

Lastly, don’t leave without trying the custard- but you already knew that.

Was in the mood for hot dogs so I did a little Google search and Freddy’s popped up. Looking at the pictures I actually thought it was a local place in Fredericksburg but it seems to be a national chain at least that’s what the cashier told me. I’m a big Chicago dog fan and I was intrigued that they had their own Freddy’s version of it. I got a combo meal with the Chicago dog and their shoestring french fries which I made into chili cheese fries and a Diet Coke. After you make it water they give you a little slip and you can take a seat and wait for them to call your number. The place kind of has a 1950s Vibe with red and white checkerboard colors throughout. They have a soda dispensing machine that you get to pick your own drink and fill up with free refills. Food talk about 10 minutes to get which wasn’t too bad. The Chicago dog is definitely their own version of it and doesn’t have some of the traditional things oh, but it was actually very good. One of the things I think I even preferred over a poppy seed bun was the butter toasted bun. It doesn’t have a little Chili Pepper on it but it was really good. The shoestring Fry’s we’re fried to perfection and they stayed pretty crispy, at least for a while with the chili and cheese on top of them. They also had a couple of different dipping sauces that you could grab when you go pick up your food. Overall I was very impressed with the whole meal and setup of the place. They have a drive-thru and have a number of different burgers, ice cream and shakes you can choose from. Hopefully they’ll open one up a little closer here in the Richmond area, but if you’re anywhere near one I would highly recommend checking them out.

Wow I really don’t know what to say about the cleanliness of this place. Floor sticky, debris everywhere. If it wasn’t for the burger I am not sure if we would return.

We went for the first time on a Saturday and had to wait outside for a table to become available because they have restricted seating, and a max of 25 people at a time. We initially paid $62 on 5 combo meals and 2 desserts, but my husband went back for more fries and dessert. That should tell you that the food was good. That cheese sauce is half the secret IMO and they were generous with it. The restroom seemed well maintained also.

A+ customer service. I liked their fries but found nothing special about their burgers. When my order came out, everything was cold. I think Cook Out is better. Their decoration may make you feel like you’re in In-n-Out, but their burgers are not comparable.
