Absolutely amazing! Seated immediately, quick service, and out-of-this-world food! Burnt ends and brussels sprouts for apps, and southern fried chicken thighs and brisket for dinner. Excellent flavor and huge portions! Definitely adding this place to our rotation!

This was our first time here, and we opted to meet up with friends to get more opinions of the place.
We had a bit of a wait to get seated, but it was done in less than 15 minutes. We were given a choice, a high top table or booth, and we chose a booth.
The booths are a bit awkward as they are an unusual shape. Comfortable for 4 adults, and I’m sure they could squeeze 2 more in if needed. If you were seated inside the booth, talking was okay, but if seated at the ends, then you had to raise your voice to be heard.
Like previous reviews, the background music is hard to hear over the voices. They need someone on dimmer duty to lower the lights to get folks to quiet down a bit. It did make it difficult to hear even the person next to you.
I would also suggest that management put a few tvs on with closed captioning.
The drink menu looked good, but we were all taken aback at the price of the cocktails. $10 + seems a bit steep for our taste. So we passed on those. 3 waters and a sweet tea were ordered. If you are a fan of VERY sweet tea , you are in luck!
Appetizers were hush puppies served with sour cream and onion rings ( which is a side on their menu). Both came out hot, but our runner didn’t include plates for the four of us. Those we had to ask for when our waitress returned to take our order.
The onion rings were crispy and had a good taste but a bit heavy with oil from the fryer, and the hush puppies’ shape was so round it reminded us of those cake pop makers. We all got a good giggle out of that.
They were okay, a bit on the dark side for my liking with a hint of cheese and bacon, but the four of us did not finish them. I opted to bring the rest of the onion rings home.
One of our group opted to get a side salad with a balsamic dressing on the side. She stated it was fine but did not elaborate.
One person ordered the Village Burger, which arrived with the top off of the burger. It was the most colorful plate at the table for presentation. It was juicy for sure as it spread all over their hands. It came with a basket of fries, which were good, but ended up getting colder quicker than they thought.
2 people ordered the brisket with 2 sides. A bean salsa type item and mashed potatoes. No one said it was terrible , but no one was raving about it either. One person did not finish their meal.
I had the BBQ Chicken Flatbread. It is definitely something you’ll want to share. It’s too large for one, and I did ask for a to go container to bring the rest of it home. Yes, it was that good, and I’m not a big fan of caramelized onions either.
Our waitress was quite pleasant and kept checking in with us to make sure everything was going well. She also made sure we had plenty of napkins and hand wipes ( a nice touch, by the way)
The only downfall I noted was that they need to check between the seat cushions in the booths. Ours was filled with crumbs from previous diners.

came here with a friend…
I’m on a gluten-Free diet.
I just felt it was a little sad that the waitress couldn’t tell me if stuff had gluten in it or not. Sometimes soups have hidden gluten.
But anywho anywho.
Side salad was your basic salad all fresh vegetables.
Chicken wings were actually really good. I ordered them with dipping sauce on the side
My friend ordered A burrito ball. We felt the presentation was great but the lack of ingredients for the price that we were paying was just disappointing. But it was good. She ordered it without black beans, but they failed to tell her. By the way the black beans and corner mix. So she was a little disappointed that she didn’t get the corn.
Would I go back to this place? Maybe maybe just for like chicken wings.

Let me start by saying the fried chicken was delicious. We ordered the burnt ends to start and I love burnt ends. These were odd, the flavor was kind of strange seemed to need something else to round out the flavor, and not all the pieces were crispy. I ordered the burrito bowl with chicken, it was the same thing kind of a one note taste, nothing special about it. My husband ordered the fried chicken thighs, those were great. The chicken had good flavor, that was great with the honey drizzled over the top. The sides were great too, he got mac and cheese, and cornbread. The mac and cheese was very cheesy, and the cornbread had a great taste, both were good sized portions.

Frankie’s B is a place that I would come here over and over again. The food, service, and thr atmosphere is great. I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the BBQ Sampler which has ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and wings.
The drinks are fantastic.

Started with the table that we we’re being seated at was not cleaned so host had to wipe it down and we were sat at a wet table, we used our napkins to dry the table and had to ask for more napkins. Never offered napkins even when the server noticed us using our napkins to wipe table. The wait for the food was average. I ordered the chicken sandwich, wife ordered chicken and waffles with a side of onion rings. When we got our orders the food looked amazing, plated nice. Starting with the fries and couldn’t finish them, way to salty! Onion rings were ok. The chicken they use for the sandwich and the chicken and waffles are thigh’s, why I don’t know. It was chewy and on the dark side. Another host came by and asked how were our meals and the wife was honest and they offered her chicken tenders in replace. They we’re better but not by much, didn’t finish them. My chicken sandwich was the same, made from thigh meat but I finished it. It had coleslaw on it, I thought it would have been on the side. I ate it but didn’t care for the coleslaw at all. It also had pickles that I did enjoy. They didn’t charge us for the chicken and waffles or the tenders and we didn’t expect that at all so that’s why I’m giving a higher rating on service. Would give one more try but not getting the chicken.

Went here for lunch. Ordered a couple drinks, which were well made and fairly priced for the market. We had chicken wings, their tenders and fries as our meal. Chicken tenders were delicious. The wings had very good flavor but were slightly over cooked. I’m not sure if they bribe them at all but if they don’t they should. The bar and atmosphere was very nice. Great assortment of whisky’s at the bar. We will definitely return. Hopefully they get the NFL ticket in the fall.

Great service, great drink, good menu options, somewhat bland food but I’d come again and try something else. I had the mango chili mojito (excellent!), and the steak tips with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. I’ve had better instant potatoes. These were very tasteless. Steak was cooked medium rare as ordered and was somewhat flavored but was lacking the robust flavor I had hoped for. Would have liked more sauce. Mac and cheese was tasty but nothing special. Server, Trent, was fantastic, attentive and personable. I will come again and give it another try. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Overall, worth a visit!

Frankie B’s Tavern has been redecorated since the last time we were there. The menu has been upgraded as well. Great food, good service and nice atmosphere.
It looks like it has been set up as a sports bar.
We will return when we come back to Manchester, Ct.

This place just opened so we were expecting much and our expectations were about right. We were told it would take 40 minutes for food but it was over and hour. Our served was nice but inattentive and super slow. It took 20 minutes to get water. Our wings arrived with our meals. The wings were good but the celery and carrots were lacking. The decor was ok, but the noise levels were insane we couldn’t hear each other speak and it was freezing. The meals we just ok. Lettuce in the salard was sub par and the quinoa withe the salmon wasn’t cooked. They were out of the half chicken. Ok place to go for drinks and apps but not sure we would go for dinner again. They definitely need to work on the quality and timing of their service. Looked like the owner or manager was sitting at the bar not helping as his team drowned which does not bode well (if true). Hoping they get their act together as vernon needs some more places to eat!
