I love Frank and Mary’s tavern. Frank and Mary are brother and sister but sadly Mary passed away 2-3 years ago. Mary ran kitchen and Frank ran the service and bar. The food is good traditional homemade cuisine. I ate there late May 2023 and an employee took over the day to day and unfortunately I forgot his name. But, he is vary nice and based on the food quality, he is doing Mary proud! It’s a heavily old-timer audience and they tend to keep to themselves but it’s definitely worth visiting and if you live nearby, a great substitute for homemade favorites. Great portions too!

Their popup kitchens are worth checking out, they have a great rotation of local cooks serving up great deals. They also run a weekday lunch special but I’m never in the area for that.

I wish I could rate this bar zero stars. I have never in my life seen a bartender speak to a person the way I did tonight. Absolutely awful. I came in with a jovial attitude for the weekend and am leaving with the most sour taste in my mouth.

A bartender at this establishment feels it is appropriate to berate and vilify patrons based on the breed of dog they choose to own. (A dog that was NOT even in the bar) Even going so far as to say all pitbulls should be exterminated. My pitbull might be willing to forgive such evilness…..but I am not. Pitbull discrimination is based in both classism and racism and I’ll never patronize a place who employs people that not only feel that way, but feel they can loudly and angrily force that opinion on customers at their place of work. It is unfortunate zero stars is not an option.

Friendly service, great ambiance, and decent prices. We didn’t get a chance to try the food.

The bartender has bad vibes. The type of place that has a touch tunes but will get mad when you use it. A “dive bar” that cares too much about being hipster garbage. Extremely disappointed.

Awesome fast lunch. No menu, just the special of the day. Staff is friendly. Food is inexpensive and hits the spot. Had the chicken schnitzel, just like mom made it. Great bang for the buck.

The bartender shut off some trash music on touch tunes. I love this place.
