The sicilian pizza is truly one of the best ever. My husband and I have traveled all over the world, and all over the country. Both from very pizza heavy places – NY CT NJ etc. this is truly one of my favorite slices of alll time. Second time here and it’s consistently delicious. Soft dough with a crispy outside- sauce is 10/10 – ready to go slices have interesting toppings not just basics. They are also heated to absolute perfection every time. No notes. Service is always prompt and friendly. Atmosphere is exactly what it should be. Chill and casual.

Everytime I drive in from Syracuse for a hike, Franco’s Pizza is my non-negotiable pit stop! Their Roman style pizza is unlike anything else in the area- crispy, flavorful, generously loaded toppings. The quality is top notch.

Great pizza. Just as good as in NYC. Thin and crunchy bottom. Nice large space. Just don’t take it to the brewery next door (they won’t let you in with the pizza). Selection of drinks could be more extensive, but it is adequate. Just don’t come too close to closing time or you will won’t have much of a choice in toppings for pizza-by-the-slice.

Best pizza in town! I’ve been coming here since I was a student. Visited Ithaca 8 years later and saw that they expanded to a larger location down the street. Happy to see that this place survived the pandemic.

I’ve lived in the Ithaca area for 30 years and I can say with confidence that you won’t find better tasting pizza in Tompkins county. Ned’s Pizzaria is a close 2nd, but due to Francos consistency I would easily rate them #1. If you haven’t tried Francos yet, I highly recommend stopping in for a slice. -Be sure to try one that has pesto on it!

We found Franco during our vacation at Ithaca. Really good and fresh food, friendly service and chill place. This place was parents approved, we got large pizza with mushroom, olives, peppers and onions. It came out piping hot and bread quality was amazing. We ordered garlic knots l, since there were only 4 left, they gave it on the house (really nice gesture). Really enjoyed our experience, definitely must visit if you’re looking for vegetarian options in the area.

Stellar – Garlic Sicilian slice is light, crispy, and to die for. Staff are always wonderful and service is quick as can be. Couldn’t make up a complaint if I had to – Strong competition for the best pizza in Ithaca no doubt.

I don’t pretend to be a pizza connoisseur but I have eaten pizza all over Italy for the past three summers. The pizza is A+. The cannoli’s were soooooo…. Disappointing. We went to Sicily this past summer so I had high hopes! Soggy, droopy crust and not filled to order. Would not recommend them but would highly recommend the pizza!
