The beef Manhattan was excellent! Red potatoes were used for mashed potatoes. The shredded roast and the bread was so fresh. Portions are very generous. And the price! I can’t see how they can provide an exceptional meal at the low of price. Service was excellent. Atmosphere has a rural diner feel. This is a must try in Muncie.

We had a nice little girls breakfast on a Sunday morning. Arrived a little after 11 and only had a five minute wait. We were seated in the very back, a large open room and it was perfect! Out there it wasn’t too loud even though there was a pretty packed house.

The fresh squeezed OJ was delicious! And worth the $4.99/cup. We split a carrot cake waffles which was also very good!

I had the fillet eggs Benedict which was good! The meat wasn’t a fillet though, much too tough to be a fillet and they never asked how I would like it cooked.

One friend has the brisket eggs Benedict and she said it was good as well.

The other friend had an omelet and fruit with sourdough which she said was good too!

Our server was nice, attentive and let us have our space to talk and enjoy each other’s company.

When we left it was super busy and they had several people waiting for tables so I recommend getting there before 11:20 if you don’t want to have a long wait.

They’re also opening a location in Richmond,IN. So there is another option if you’re in that area.

Great option for breakfast in Muncie, would recommend!

Delicious! I was in the mood for a really good omelet and this place did not disappoint! Everything from the fresh squeezed orange juice to the omelet and everything in between was perfect. We went there for brunch. I highly recommend if you’re in the Muncie area.

Steer clear of this place. Food for both of us was undercooked, eggs and chicken. When owner/mgr asked if chicken fried in same oil as fish, he said “we haven’t served any fish today.” Funny how the person two tables over was eating fish. The food was not good. The building and the sidewalks are a hazard, and we were blatantly too. Don’t waste your time or money.

The food seemed like it was put together pretty quickly and the ingredients in my omelet weren’t very evenly dispersed, but the food was still fresh and tasty with good ingredients. I loved the decor.

Chicken Tenders and Carrot Waffles were exceptional! My dinner guests enjoyed smoked salmon eggs benedict and fresh fruit and state the portion size was excellent and very tasty. . Root beer float for my granddaughter was brought to my granddaughter with extra root beer and she enjoyed it. Service was excellent.

UPDATE: brought the leftover omelette and skillet home and fed it to the chickens. They obviously disagreed with our review because they gobbled up those leftovers; however, they consider bug larvae and raw, ground corn a delicacy, so . . .

Breakfast for 4 was $58 (before the tip)

Kids: LOVED the pancakes. They had S’mores and Strawberry/Banana. They called it “sugary goodness.”

Adults: Gravy was just ok.
Meat Lover’s Skillet was just ok.
Omelette was AWFUL! Dry and overcooked
and the ingredients were so sparse. It was
mostly a bunch of dried eggs.

Too many other yummy spots in Muncie to eat. Unless you want sugar-loaded pancakes, pass on this place.

Their food is amazing! It’s a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. You will definitely leave here with a full belly. You get a lot of food and the taste is on point. So it is so worth going!!!

We love this place! It is so quaint and friendly, service is wonderful and fairly speedy, and the staff know you after one visit. We’ve become “weekend regulars” as they call us and even brought some friends to join. They offer fun alternatives along with “normal” southern foods as well as the local appeal from Minnetrista. Go visit!! You’ll love it!!
