Fracasso’s is definitely an old school pizza place, no fluff or glitz here! The pizza is reasonably priced and very tasty with loads of toppings however they could use a quick broil to crisp up the top to make them even better; homemade meatballs and sauce are the bomb! Drinks, including beer, are available from several coolers as well as a selection of chips, etc. Worth the trip!

The people inside barely looked old enough to serve alcohol let alone work there. We went inside to eat and it’s a serve yourself kind of place. Like a pizza shop that absent-mindedly added some chairs and tables. The lasagna was cold and the subs were not very hearty. The potato skins was the best part of the meal and they were borderline burnt. Just not a good first impression. However it is one of those places you want to like and next time I will try the pizza. And I got there when they first opened so maybe if I wait until later in the day when the adults get there. Cheers

Was one of our favorite pizza places. Went for the 1st time in a couple of yrs tonight as we were in area & was 100% disappointed. Barely any toppings-absolutely no cheese except very middle-1 pepperoni on each piece. Maybe 4 pieces with sausage. Used to be packed & still great pizza-there was only 1 fam of 4 there & still didn’t get a decent pizza! Won’t bother returning!

Decided to take a little drive today and check out Fracasso’s Village Pizza in Galena. This is your typical out in the country pizza place. They have a huge selection of beers and sodas, bottles and cans. Plenty of seating (dozen tables). I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and garlic cheese bread. The pizza was a nice perfectly crisp pizza with a nice smooth sauce, a ton of cheese and nice spicy pepperoni. Definitely was surprised on how good it was. Then there was the Garlic Cheese Bread. OMG!!! You know a lot of places the garlic is way over loaded, this was the perfect amount and again a bunch of cheese that was perfectly cooked. I made the mistake of not taking the dipping sauce. But the bread stood on its own. For sure I will have to return.

Very disappointed in the pizza. I use to get a pep. Pizza every Friday night for a very long time when i.lived close by. I went today and the crust is different, very thin like a cracker, the beer mug is 8-10 ox, not 12. But the price is the same. And they say that they made no changes this is how small places go out of business. I understand the inflation but!

I used to work at this place about 17 years ago and everything still tastes the same, amazing as always. There are new owners but nothing else has really changed and I loved it!! Taco pizza from here is a must try loaded up with lettuce and cheese I was in heaven.
