Great place, cozy atmosphere, wonderful staff had the egg sandwich It was excellent. Great, relaxing place to grab a bite or meet people for a meeting. Quick work break great place just to collect your thoughts. Had some of their delicious coffee and grabbed a few of their famous pastries to take home.

We shared an egg sandwich and the Apple Crostada. Both were very good. I had a hot latte and hubby had an iced latte with honey. They were both just okay. This has been our experience there a few times now, pastries good coffee average at best. So my personal recommendation if if you’re in New Albany and want a pastry, go here. If you’re in New Albany and want a coffee go to Morning Ritual instead. Both have their own strength. Lastly, it is super busy and the line forms all around where you are. Dont care for this too much not to mention finding a spot to sit is hard and tables are on top of each other.

Meh… I’ve been to La Chatelaine, Paris Baguette and Tour de Jour frequently. I am accustomed to my pastry being warmed. Fox doesn’t warm it. So my ham and Swiss was not delicious, it was just okay. The biscuit, I decided I’ll save until I return home to warm in the oven. The coffee was good, it had an herb taste to it. I can’t pinpoint it, but it was like thyme or oregano… not sure.
My big gripe, lack of seating, noisy and there’s no wifi. I paid for dine-in, only to pack my stuff up and head out due to no wifi and everyone is on to of each other.
I’ll try them one more time on a pick up order closer to opening, maybe 8. Because by 9:15 am when I arrived, everything was cold.
I spent $14 and change for a biscuit w/ jam, ham & swiss pastry (not the baguette) and drip coffee. The price is respectable, it’s less than the bakeries I listed above.
I’ll update my review after next visit.

Very good pastry, Carmel cappuccino but didn’t taste like it, it’s was ok but nothing great. Loud, busy but still can talk. I don’t like the long jail like tables. Wish there was more seating but I would go back. The lady who helped me was great.

Very good lattes – my wife loved the caramel latte. I thought the mocha was good. My only critique would be we were disappointed to learn that there is no “large” size – it made the price point hit a little different when I ordered a large and didn’t discover until I picked up the lattes that large didn’t actually exist – and on a car trip we really wanted that larger size. The atmosphere of the place was great and I could still see myself going there to sit down with friends and enjoy a caramel latte.

Make sure to go early – They do what they can with the space but it’s a popular spot and the line gets long and available seating disappears pretty quick.
This was my Saturday morning go-to spot when I lived in Blacklick. Per the above, eventually I started ordering it to-go regularly. I found that ordering to-go worked best just because it’s a popular and crowded spot on weekends (for good reason). The staff to me was always pleasant but very busy.
I’ve only tried three things here:
1. Cold Brew
2. Blueberry Galette
3. Souffle Egg Sandwich
The cold brew I can’t speak-on. I don’t have a refined palette for coffee but it always does the job. I guess I’ll say I wish that I could order it in a larger size because I’m a degenerate.
The blueberry galette is quite heavenly. The theory is that I should eat it as dessert after the sandwich, but eventually I started eating it first. Pastry is perfectly sweet and flaky with amazing cream cheese style icing. The blueberries on top always taste incredibly fresh to me with that perfect snap.
Ok – now the sandwich. The sandwich is the reason I wish I could pick this place up and move it to Pittsburgh where I currently live. I think the sandwich is the star of the operation – perfect egg on fresh bread with bacon and greens and sauce is what makes it next level. All of the ingredients play off each other. It’s a simple concept executed consistently and flawlessly. I miss it dearly – It may be my favorite breakfast sandwich of all time.
I can’t speak for the other FitS locations. If you ding this place on a review because you don’t have enough elbow-room, I think that’s more reflective on the quality of their food drawing a crowd. If you ding it because of the coffee, I’m just too ignorant to understand the intricacies of perfect coffee. However, if you ding this place on the quality of the two food items I mentioned, I just fundamentally disagree with you.
In an area of the state with really good breakfast options, this place stood out to me when I was a local.

Lots of staff on hand to help us get the weekend wrapped. Great pastries, great coffee, busy shop. Would have loved to have sat and enjoyed our lattes in the shop but having a little one, along with the slightly acoustically challenged dining area, makes it a little more challenging. Still, great coffee and breakfast!

What a fun place to eat. The choice of pastries seems endless along with gourmet coffees, teas, and smoothies. We had the egg sandwich and it was amazingly delicious. The tomatoe tart was another great choice. Casual atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Counter order, staff delivers to table. Excellent service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I will return and highly recommend.

The cafe is super cute and the pastries are pretty good! But both my friend and my coffees were actually awful. My friend got the peppermint chocolate iced latte and it tasted like straight peppermint essential oil. I got the gingerbread iced latte and it tasted nothing like gingerbread and was super bitter. I’m an avid coffee drinker and love trying new coffee shops. This was genuinely not good and there are much better coffee shops in the area. The food was much better than the drinks.
