I am not a steak lover I am a meat lover. Mostly cheese burgers and mac and cheese is what I grew up on and let me not to forget Coke products where only allowed at our house. I was wanting a ribeye for some odd reason. Found this hidden gem on goggle and off we went. Walked in to be seated and was loving the farmhouse vibe. Every one was super nice and I ordered a huntsman ribeye with French onion soup and a loaded baked potato. Boo ordered us a spinach dip appetizer with pita chips. I also had to try a side of the mac and cheese. You would think by all that I would have been starved for days. The spinach dip was good and fantastic. The French onion soup was fantastic . The ribeye was cooked medium it was on point. Cooked perfectly compliments to the Chef. I also got a salad I didnt touch brought it home. The baked potato looked fantastic not touched it yet either. My eyes overloaded my belly yall. The mac and cheese was perfection also the right amount of to much cheese and so creamy. Boo got prime rib and home fries. He gets the prime rib a lot i have never seen a large piece so thick and juicy. He said it was good they He over stuffed himself. He told me to roll him out in a wheelbarrow. Excellent food and waitress. The only negative was the table behind us had a Karen and Ken I think is what everyone calls them. They complained just to complain and then would talk about the waitress. I apologized to their waitress for them. Bless them they should have stayed in west Virginia. They have a small sign at the road we missed it the 1st time and had to turn around. It’s a past the trailer park on the left. It’s definitely excellent food and great decorating!!

Asked for a well done steak and this is what I got after I asked for them to cook longer. The salad was frozen and I had to let it thaw. Didn’t care for the food. For the quality of my food, I feel that I paid to much. Just was not my cup of tea. The theme of the place was ok

We were looking for a good catfish meal and scored big! The inside was decorated to a cabin vibe. Our waitress was a baby doll who meet our every need ( extra napkins as we might be a little messy and a to go cup for the sweet tea.) The salad was perfect please ty of salad dressing. To many times elsewhere it has been lacking. Great place to go. Next time I’ll probably buy a shirt to advertise for them. Highly recommend.

Me and my guy used to love coming here. It has really gone downhill. The only reason we did come back was for Pam(waitress). She’s such a great waitress. We noticed the food quality wasn’t that good. Anyway we got there last night around 830. They close at 9. So maybe they weren’t happy that we came so late. But still my man ordered a beer and I got a Bloody Mary. My drink was ok. He only got the 1 beer in the time frame we were there (never got asked if he wanted another) Second I saw 2 ants on our table (ok that’s fine no place is perfect) but I then noticed there was a bunch of them along the wall. Then we got our food (I ordered fettuccini Alfredo with blackened chicken and he got a steak with creamed spinach (he wanted asparagus, but they were out) first my chicken had the texture of microwaved meat.(it was rubbery) then about 3 minutes after I got my plate they brought my toast (it was burnt) Anyway I digress I don’t think we will be back

Traveling, hungry, and ready to get out of the car. “Hey Google, where can I get a good hamburger?”… just so happens we were 1.3 miles from the location it suggested. We were both looking at each other . Are you sure this is the road we were supposed to turn on. Oh yes. There it is on the left. We went inside and immediately knew we were in for a treat. It smelled wonderful, and the staff was welcoming and smiling. The other patrons were content. Ordering was a breeze, and the server was on point. There is so much to look at while waiting for our meal. You’ll love their food and hospitality. Go get ya some!

We were traveling and found this restaurant online. My husband had the prime rib hoagie and I had a ribeye steak sandwich. They were were both delicious and the macaroni and cheese, as a side, was fantastic! Our service was friendly, yet professional. The restaurant was clean; as were the restrooms.

Lovely farmhouse atmosphere reminded me of a family home. Food was delicious. I had the catfish. It was fresh, flavorful , batter was crispy. A variety of sides to choose from, I picked the creamed spinach very cheesy and creamy. Meal came with a side salad & soup (iceberg lettuce: crisp topped with tomatoes, cheese, onions, and croutons), Soup ( clam chowder) Taste like homemade filled with clams. large portions, I took half of it home. Excellent customer service by wait staff : Attentive, professional, appeared to work well as a team. I would highly recommend this place . I look forward to returning.

First and last time there. The food was very good but we got there around 1:30ish and did not get our food until 3. That’s just too long to sit there. I understand they had a big table that was there when we got there but other than that plus us and maybe 1 more table of 2, really? The people who came in way after we did got their food in a timely manner and got their check when we did. I mean…really? The onion ring appetizer was great. Thank-goodness for it! The meat was full of flavor but not once did anyone apologize for the food being so late.

I was excited to try this place based on the great reviews, but unfortunately our experience fell far short. We were a party of six and waited nearly an hour and a half for our food, despite the restaurant only having a few tables occupied.
The dishes themselves were disappointing. My French onion soup arrived with just a slice of cheese tossed in it. I ordered the prime rib medium rare and was served a well-done cut. We requested a well-done burger that came out rare, and a bacon cheeseburger that arrived without any bacon.
Our bill was nearly $200, but the meal we received wasn’t remotely worth the price. The waitress was kind and apologized, mentioning that there was a new cook, but unfortunately that didn’t make up for the overall experience.
Sadly, I can’t recommend this place. I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
