My wife and I love eating here for breakfast when we are out in the Hamburg area. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I love their espresso drinks and all of their waffle choices are great. It can get busy here, rightfully so, so we try to get there early, closer to when it opens. Would definitely recommend checking Four Twelve out when you’re in the area.

Lovely modern little coffee shop. It has a pleasant bustle of energy and is quiet enough to get some work done. The coffee was fantastic! We ordered the biscuits and gravy which were incredible (the rosemary was spot on) and the avacado, egg and cheese waffle sandwich. My only recommendation is to maybe ask for some of the gravy as dipping sauce for the sandwich (the only savory sauce options were ketchup and hot sauce which is a bit too acidic for me this early).

This is one of the finest coffee houses I have set foot in! So clean and nicely done. The drinks are fantastic, the waffle sandwiches are genius and beyond delicious. Try the sausage, egg and cheese with real maple syrup. Save the extra syrup and dump it in your latte! The staff are wonderful! A really great place for the community! I hope it does very well and is enjoyed by all!

I asked for a French Vanilla latte and the barista looked at me as if I had lobsters crawling out of my ears. She then replied, “No, we don’t have fudge.” I explained what French Vanilla is, and we finally bridged the knowledge gap. My wife ordered a Mocha latte. Both lattes were mediocre at best – they just were not very flavorful at all, very disappointing. Especially for the $13 we were charged. Well, at least the atmosphere was nice.

On a road trip from Vermont to Virginia and back, this was my favorite food stop and whole way! I got a GF PB&J waffle sandwich, with their own quality flour blend. I also got the egg & veggie waffle omelet…creative and yummy. Great food! I enjoyed the sidewalk seating as well.

The atmosphere is good and service is average. However, I can’t say as much for the food. It’s gone downhill quite a lot. Takeaway orders, well…I threw the last one in the bin. It was pretty bad. It looked like something threw up in the takeaway box. The coffee cup, supposedly a Latte, was only about halfway full. Bit of a rip for the price. Haven’t returned since. It also seems now, as though that, the owner is replying only to those who give favorable reviews. Therefore, I do not recommend this shop and have now removed one star.

If you appreciate coffee I would avoid this place. The staff unfortunately does not know how to brew coffee. The espresso is horribly over extracted. The only flavors you get are bitter and sour and completely undrinkable. A cup of coffee however has the reverse problem. It is extremely under extracted to the point of essentially being tinted water. The amount of disservice to the coffee beans is unforgivable.

A cozy little cafe right next to the Strand Theatre in downtown Hamburg. They serve all different kinds of waffles sandwiches and coffees. Tastefully decorated and with tons of friendly staff, can’t wait to come back again soon

Absolutely loved this place!!!! Amazing waffles n best coffee ever. Try there waffles in a cup with chocolate espresso sauce very helpful n friendly staff. Perfect place 2 hang out with friends… Longer wait time = more time 2 catch up
