Update: I stopped in early and we tried a cheddar and bacon croissant, a sticky bun and a bagel sandwich. All delicious. Next time an almond croissant and a cinnamon roll.

Stopped in late in the day but I was able to grab some delicious cookies. The snickerdoodle, chocolate chip and coconut macaroons were delicious. Soft, chewy and melt in your mouth! I will definitely be back to try some other pastries!

Absolutely love this place! I love the spinach artichoke danish. That’s my favorite! I started getting their pastries when they would come to the local farmers markets and holiday markets when I was in Haywood County but now I always drive by their shop when I’m in the area. It’s a great treat.

I stopped by this morning as we left Black Mountain and purchased a jalapeño cheddar bagel and a chocolate croissant. The bagel was delicious, but that chocolate croissant was absolutely amazing! Crunchy on the outside with the perfect chew and an amazing amount of chocolate! I’ve been eating low-carb for several months and this was the perfect place to enjoy some pastries before getting back on plan. Highly recommended!

So, this is a small bakery attached to the semi-legendary Red Rocker Inn. It’s a few blocks off the main drag in Black Mountain, but worth the trip. The baked goods are excellent, but the real claim to fame is the repurposed claw machine outside in which they place their day old pastries. For 4 quarters, one gets unlimited attempts to snag a bacon croissant or almond roll or the like. More fun than you’d think.

Stopped here early in the morning before going hiking. I stood at the counter for a good 5 long minutes before someone came to the front to ask me my order. I think the baker was busy in back & the other person came in late so I know that had something to do with it. I believe I got a cinnamon roll since I was in a rush & didnt want anything that would take more time. It was filling & delicious!

This has become my favorite little spot in Black Mountain. And that’s saying something! They’re affordable and feel like a genuine safe and cozy spot tucked in a darling neighborhood. They have the tastiest treats and you could just sit here all day on a cold day!

Best cheddar biscuit I’ve had in a looong time, the $1 pastry from the vending machine was perfect for the road!

The food here waa delicious, but oh goodness the bad attitude from the servers was a major disappointment. I went two times this past weekend, the first person was lackadaisical, but the food was worth going a second time. The second time we went there was a man behind the counter who I guess had just come in or had been in the back, but the ultimate attitude and disrespect was just over the top. They all acted as if they didn’t want to be there and then copped attitude with the customers. For the food, by far one of the best little bakeries, and I even went back the second time to buy multiple pastries to take with me to a conference. But the attitude from the people behind the counter really was disappointing.

Well as you can see I got several different things to try for about $ 34.00 dollars. Sticky buns, brownies, scone, spice cookie, and a sugar doodle cookie in the box. The brownies are my fave because I love chocolate. The cookies are delicious. Sticky buns and scone were awesome. Most the time when I try things there’s one or two things that are just ok and I wouldn’t drive back for them but this place is a different story. Everything is fresh and wonderful and I will be coming back soon to get more!!!!!
Yummiest!!!!!
