The tomato soup is delicious and the staff are friendly. If you like the soup they will give you the recipe and I gave this place 5 stars because of the staff and this place hasn’t changed since literally the early 90s and gives me good memories

We thought this was going to be a good place to eat….NOPE. go somewhere else. The chicken fried steak was so over done it was hard in the middle, my steak was over cooked, and not a very good cut of meat. My husband’s clean coffee cup had lipstick on the edge, and when he took it up to the waitress, she said jokingly “well we didn’t charge you extra for that.” Um…no…no thank you. It was our first and last time there. Just not quite what we were expecting.

Their water cups were dusted in crayon dust, so the water tasted like wax. The pancakes were gooey(undercooked). Order the chorizo breakfast burrito, and there was no chorizo. It was just breakfast sausage. Everything else that was ordered was good.

On a trip back home to Alberta, we made it to Great Falls later in evening. Husband remembered this Restaurant that had the best tomato soup beside Ashley Furniture… last night we found it again…. After 20+ years, the tomato soup was the best! Great staff! He was the best! Thank you

This is a diner that’s been in Great Falls a very long time. The “diner” feeling is very evident when walking in and it’s one of our favorite places- especially for breakfast and soup/sandwiches. They’re tomato soup is absolutely to die for and something I tend to sample everytime I go- pair it with a grilled cheese and oh my goodness! Some waitresses have been there a long time and it’s always lovely to see they’re familiar faces- and they’re always very attentive and kind. Rarely if ever have we had a below par experience here. As long as you understand it’s diner food (don’t be thinking you’re getting a crazy fancy steak)- it’s a great place to visit!

Let me start with the restaurant, the seats were dirty and tore up. The bathroom was disgusting. Now the food..My soup was cold, but good! I ordered the smothered chicken, it didn’t look & taste good. The mushrooms were obviously canned, slimy and stink. Service was bad, horrible waitress. Nearly 100$ for this experience, would not recommend going.

Breakfast was ok. Standard diner quality food. Bacon is thin and sort of crispy. Pancakes are straight from a box of pancake mix. Hash browns had texture but no flavor. Our waitress and the rest of the wait staff were very nice. However, the kitchen is open for all to see and hear. The two guys working in the kitchen were loud and annoying with plenty of colorful language, which doesn’t bother me, but the parents of the small children in the booth next to me did not appreciate it. This honestly was my biggest issue with this place. Hard to enjoy breakfast when the guys in the kitchen are so loud you can’t hear the people at your table. Not real professional, food is adequate. Try Double Barrel or Tracy’s Diner.
