But I decided to give it a shot since I was in the area and the food looked good.
I walk in and it’s like an oasis. Beautiful interior, bright colors but not gaudy, everything perfectly placed, cozy and warm- which is what I love in an eatery- not the minimalist industrial gentrified metal monochrome you see everythere these days.
I am the only living soul inside this absolute Disneyland of a restaurant. I open the menu. Omelettes for under ten dollars. Paninis. Same deal. Paninis WITH FRIES INCLUDED.
Am I in the twilight zone? Seriously
Have I traveled in time?
The gentleman at the counter rushes over right away to greet me and ask if I want a drink. Reccomends a panini. I order it without hesitation. I’m dumbfounded. Where am I?
He brings out the panini and I kid you not
It was the most chicken I have ever seen not on the skeleton of a chicken. Huge pile of perfect french fries.
I don’t care if you think I’m exaggerating- I actually cried for a moment. I shed legitimate tears eating this panini. Just overwhelmed.
Just everything like picture book perfect…
*Shakes head*
where are all the people???
I don’t understand.
I hung out there all day.
It’s the following morning and I’m on my way out the door to try the omelette.
If you live in this area you’re sitting on *actual* treasure right in your backyard for GOD’S SAKE why eat anywhere else.
That’s all I got ✌
PS: This review was written with the help of: no one and nothing! And no A.I.! Because these people deserve the human touch.
PPS: My total for a huge heartbreakingly delicious panini with a truckload of fries and a strawberry milkshake made by your great grandmother in 1935 was $19.72.
(^that could have been the whole review)
