No longer have fried chicken. The Specialty Pizza was two meats (small amount), onions, mushrooms, and olives and was sort of bland. Street tacos were just average. Wouldn’t let us mix chicken and pork tacos (4 to a platter) for some reason. Overall, was not pleased.

This restaurant owned and operated by Lori, hasnt had a health inspector over 5 years! Terrible food and service. The soda dispenser has mold on/in it, caught it 3 times with 3 different drinks. Didn’t end up drinking any of it, thank goodness. Taste like the grease never gets changed. Very limited food items, it’s always burgers and burritos. Daily specials are eh. The food is always cold. Any of the meat always taste heavily salted. I just can’t stand it anymore. I don’t how folks are lying to themselves saying it’s good food. It’s not. Anytime I attempt to eat there, a staff member is always talking to me while I’m trying to enjoy my food. Gets annoying fast. I don’t like this restaurant anymore. There’s going to be a new owner, but I doubt much will change. I rather eat dirt then attempt to try another meal here. Save yourself and just wait till you Kansas, burlington, Lamar, Limon, shoot even Eads.

Stopped there on our way to Colorado. The fried chicken was spot on. Delicious. Never had white gravy on mashed potatoes before, but now I’m a big fan. We sat outside since we had our little dog along. Had some interesting conversations with some local residents, 5 and 7 year old boys enjoying a malt.

This is a nice little cafe that has good food and good service. The cherry limeade is advertised prominently, and is worth it. They were out of a few things on the menu when we got there, which was a bit disappointing, but overall we enjoyed our time at this place.

Me and my husband actually try to go once a month for a lunch date. We usually get the special. Yesterday’s special was, Asian wings with fried rice and egg drop soup for $10 a place. Yesterday was the first day we did take out and just like any other restaurant privately owned or a big chain you of course get more if you dine in then if you take out. But I do have to say that yesterday’s lunch was delicious. And so far every time we’ve gone the food has always been delicious. One of the specials that they have sometimes is 2 chili footlong hot dogs, you can add toppings if you would like, example cheese, jalapenos, onions etc. When we went to lunch that day winter dining and the plate of food was huge to say the least. And again it was delicious, I don’t remember the price but I think it was 12-13 a plate. I don’t have any pictures right now but I will try to get pictures next time. (The reason I marked takeout is because that is the last thing that we did but we usually do dine-in. Actually that was the first time we had to do take out.) This was done last spring. I see I forgot to hit post. Sorry about that. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to go with prices going up on literally everything. We are however going to save the money to be able to go around the 1st of July.

My daughter and I and a coworker ate her April 27,2021. We ordered the chicken fried steak special and the 2 piece fried chicken breast platter. Truthfully the best food in town. Great portions and order order was taken by the sweetest girl. Her mom and grandma run the cafe. Homemade food. Fresh and the place is clean. Check it out if you are in the area.
