Listen to me closely. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. We were in town for Cousin Tiera’s sold-out comedy show at the City Winery, and they invited her to cook her own Philly sandwich. It was amazing. They treated us all like royalty!! The food was amazing, we also tried the shrimp & grits make sure that when you are in Philadelphia, you come eat here. Black owned, twin sisters owned great place. The Grilled Shrimp and Grits were really tasty. The Chicken Cheesesteak was well flavored and the chicken was moist. You place your order, pay and then proceed to the dining area. The atmosphere was laid back with plenty of natural light. Jill Scott, Thundercat, Anthony Hamilton, etc. playing in the background. The service was quick, friendly and came with a smile. I will definitely go back.

Well for starters the dining area is Small so the wait was a little ridiculous. The menu selection is limited but once the food came out everything was good. Just watching the whole operation of things I will say it would be alot better for everyone if they got a few extra hands

Could have had a better experience. For starters, we waited for over an hour to sit. Speaking of sitting, we weren’t informed of the process until the process was taking place. Meaning, we weren’t informed that we order and pay at the register first, then we go to be seated. So back to the wait… I watched many people turn to leave because of the wait. Then we learned that certain foods on the menu were not being served. Finally, the time had arrived to sit and the chairs aren’t comfortable ones but that’s neither here or there. The lady who brought out our food was very nice. Best part of the experience I’d say. The food was good and the portions were also good. I personally like a burger and fries together and here, is not the case. Everything is separate. $5 for French fries. Okay.

Had a delicious breakfast at Food Chasers! The French Toast was a burst of flavor in every bite! Chicken fried perfectly and tender. My wife enjoyed her catfish and grits. I will definitely be back.

I’ve only been trying to get here all summer! It’s Saturday, it’s the holiday and I’ve got to spend some money on black businesses too! This one was worth it friendly staff and amazing food!! I was alone so I ordered the Catfish Plate to eat there and the Salmon Plate for my sleeping beauty at home! Ran into some good friends while there ( popular spot for sistas meeting up it seems). Now downside, parking is metered as is the parking lot. Also, pay is up front when you order so you don’t get to tip the server or food quality but, that’s cuz some of OUR cousins think that they should recieve reparations for slavery from ANYBODY! So they walk out! ( Not mad at them). Anyway like the robot man in the movie said…” I’ll be back!”

This is a very intimate place. It’s small but I believe that’s what I like the most about it. This is great if you want to go to a nice small place and have some really good food. I feel like many people walk into places like this and have the same expectations as corporate businesses, but it’s just not that. I think they are doing great. Only a heads up I would suggest keeping your party to 4 or less. They do accommodate 5 or more upon reservation. I will be back again and look forward to trying other things on the menu.

The food was delicious brought out piping hot. Delicious French toast with chicken and the grits are amazing! The service was excellent; and all the patrons seemed to be enjoying the experience as much as we did. Support these wonderful women !

It was close to closing, literally no time to waste as I have driven by many times, stopped twice and always missed then. You can imagine how happy I was when they took my order which was the lump crab cheese steak and fries and my lawd it was delicious! I cannot wait to go back. The owners( the twin principals) were very friendly and the atmosphere was great as well. There’s also outdoor eating but that space is limited so get there early.
