dead food court, only a popcorn store, coffee vendor, chinese place, and a pretzel store, it had a lot more, it had a pizza place, a mexican place, also a kebab place (later became a bakery, then a bbq place) golden corral closed near the mall (we still have texas roadhouse five guys and a philly cheeseteak place in the outdoor area of the mall (we used to have another mexican place there) this mall is dying, the viral commercial and renovations bought it valuable time though, then covid killed it once again (it was also dead during the late 2000’s) it just needs a lot more traction to get more tenants there, the shoppes at north village doomed this mall since that place opened not too far from this mall, maybe put a dave & busters, as well as a hot topic, there is plenty of space here, so no need to worry about space, from 4 anchors, down to just one, with the only one not doing the best right now (at least we still have chinex and auntie annes, as well as topsys and pronto, every mall has their chinese restaurant, the north shoppes has panda express) it is a very similar case to the metro north mall in kansas city, not far from here, where zona rosa killed metro north (except this mall is still surviving, while metro north mall closed, with the macys spared from closure) hopefully someone gives big traction other than that commercial. It went from viral to vacant. I am not saying this mall is bad BY ANY MEANS, it is a good mall, it just needs more traction to bring more tenants in, that is why it has one star.
